From the terrace, you can see the turquoise waters of the Rijeka Dubrovačka bay stretching out in front of you. The bay is surrounded by steep cliffs and rocky hills, covered in lush Mediterranean vegetation. On the right side of the bridge, you can see the new city of Dubrovnik, Lapad and cruise ship terminal in the Port Gruž. On the left side of the bridge, you can see the rolling hills of the Dubrovnik countryside, dotted with small villages and olive groves. In the distance, you can see the majestic Mount Srđ, which offers another spectacular viewpoint of the city. Overall, the view from the terrace of the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Bridge is a perfect combination of natural beauty and historic charm, offering a unique perspective on one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The Ombla River is unique in many ways. It is the shortest river in the world to have a delta, and it is also one of the few underground rivers that flow above ground. The river is fed by underground springs, which keep the water temperature constant throughout the year, making it a popular spot for swimming and fishing. The Ombla River is also of great historical and cultural significance. In the past, the river was used to power numerous mills and other water-powered machinery. Today, you can still see the remains of some of these old mills and the impressive waterfalls that were created to power them. The river and its surroundings are also home to a wide range of flora and fauna. The area around the Ombla River is a protected natural reserve, and it is home to a variety of fish, birds, and other animals. Overall, the Ombla River is a beautiful and unique natural wonder, offering visitors a chance to explore the beauty and history of this fascinating region of Croatia.

15 min

Mount Srđ above Dubrovnik offers a truly impressive panoramic view of the Elafiti Islands (the Elaphite archipelago). Since Mount Srđ is located at an altitude of 412 meters, visitors can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Adriatic Sea and this beautiful island chain in the distance.

Discover one of Mount Srđ’s most compelling attractions: a newly exhibited aircraft from the Homeland War, displayed beside the Homeland War Museum at historic Fort Imperial above Dubrovnik. Combining powerful wartime heritage with breathtaking panoramic views over Dubrovnik and the Adriatic, this open-air exhibit offers visitors a memorable experience of the city’s resilience, history, and beauty.

20 min

The view from the postcard view point at Srđ Hill in Dubrovnik is absolutely stunning and is considered to be one of the best viewpoints in the city. From the top of the hill, you can see the entire city of Dubrovnik, the Adriatic Sea, and the surrounding countryside. Looking towards the city, you can see the distinctive red-tiled roofs of the Old Town, the impressive city walls, and the many churches and palaces that make up this historic city. The view is particularly impressive during sunset, when the warm light of the sun casts a golden glow over the city and the sea. At the top of the hill, there is a fortification called Fort Imperial, which was built during the Napoleonic Wars. Visitors can climb to the top of the fort to take in the stunning views and to learn more about the history of the area. Overall, the view from Srđ Hill is a must-see for anyone visiting Dubrovnik. It is a breathtaking reminder of the beauty and history of this unique city and its surroundings.

This was a great day in Dubrovnik. We got to see lots of things in a short period of time. Our guide, Dino, was fantastic. Not only did he talk to us about Dubrovnik, but he shared personal experiences and facts about the culture. I would definitely recommend this tour.

While the views were...

While the views were phenomenal and we visited a few interesting areas, we felt that this driving tour took up a lot of valuable time that we could have spent exploring more of Old Town Dubrovnik as we only had 2 nights in the town.

Great day out of Dubrovnik

We are a family of four with two grown up kids (aged 18 and 21) who have just come back from five days in Dubrovnik. No doubt Dubrovnik is an amazing city but this is peak season so very busy, and this was our first time in Croatia so we were keen to see the surrounding area. We were able to do this thanks to a great day out with Dino as our driver and guide. Dino is a very friendly, warm and engaging person who has excellent connections and great local knowledge. Our trip consisted of stops at the one of the smallest rivers in Europe, panoramic views and great photo opportunity over Dubrovnik, then onto a delightful small resort town of Cavtat where we had ice cream and were able to spend time looking around Cavtat. On Dino’s recommendation we then stopped for lunch on the way back to Dubrovnik at a nice restaurant where the food was fresh, very nice, and really good value especially compared to Dubrovnik Old Town. Thank you Dino for a memorable trip.

Thank you, Luka

We had an amazing time in Dubrovnik with our knowledgeable , professional , friendly, kind tour guide, Luka . The effort he put in to show us all the beautiful places in Dubrovnik was amazing. His knowledge about the history and more current events in this area is fascinating. We could walk on our own time , take pictures, when we looked around, Luka was there to answer questions and tell us what we wanted to know. We booked a trip with Luka to Montenegro, he arranged for a boat trip , advised us what to see and where to eat . His driving skills are very good and we felt very safe and comfortable in the vehicle at all times. We had a luggage problem that he helped us with, and if it wasn’t for his effort and communication with the people at the relevant place we would have battled to get our luggage. He spoke professionally and friendly in his language and explained our situation. We can recommend him by name for trips in the region . From my Beautiful Wife ❤️ Tanya and myself , we say in our language “ BAIE DANKIE “ thank you !!!!!
