Such a fun time with our teens! We did this excursion while in port on a cruise. It was an easy short walk from the ship and the class was fun and informative! We loved getting to make our own pizzas and enjoy them afterwards!
Good value for money, English speaking teacher. Organised and enjoyed 3 glasses of wine. We made tiramisu first and then learnt how to knead dough, then went in groups of three to make the pizza.
Very much in line with what we wanted. We discovered the secrets of a beautiful pizza ++ with a pizzaoilo and a cooker-animators very available. Without forgetting the welcome and tasting: top
I guess I expected something else, for example learn about Sicilian cuisine, the ingredients, special flavors, hand-on kitchen experience.....we spent most of the time waiting (don't know for what), we were allowed in the kitchen the last 4 minutes of the workshop to make our pizza Margherita!!!!! We were not allowed to put the pizzas in the oven, it was too difficult, we were told!! Otherwise we (or mostly the "chef") prepared the food on a table in the restaurant and explained in a poor English. All in all a very disappointing and boring experience and not worth the money we paid for it.
We had so much fun, it was a mega cool experience with pizza, tiramisu, lots of wine & nice people! We learned a lot & took new impressions with us
Rita and Angela were a fabulous and complementary team, with bright and outgoing personalities that made this class such an entertaining and enjoyable experience. Combined with learning the finer arts of tiramisu (with Rita) and pizza making (with Angelo) - they were fabulous company and it was wonderful to chat to Rita in particular- who’s English was exceptional - and get a perspective of Sicilian life, food and just about any topic. She is a dynamo ready for something big to happen - such a personable young lady and very generous with her time. And Angelo (with Rita interpreting for him) is certainly a skilled pizza chef and very hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed the fruits of our labours, with copious amounts of wine and great company in a funky restaurant with bold and colourful artwork. We can highly recommend this very affordable and genuinely enjoyable experience.
Great experience! Great pizza and tiramisu! Loved that wine was included too. The instructors were friendly and helpful.
It was a very nice workshop, Rita & Angelo put the workshop together well with a lot of fun and passion. Definitely recommended if you fancy an ‘accessible’ fun afternoon! The food was super tasty, especially because you experience it yourself!
We learned how to make tiramisu and Sicilian Pizza. Both were delicious! I recommend anyone to try it.
We had a brilliant experience making pizza and tiramisu with Rita, Carmen and Angelo. They are very passionate about their food and very knowledgeable. The pizza and dessert was beautiful 😍 my partner had coffee and I was treated to glasses of chilled prosecco. Would highly recommend this class!! Can't wait to take their advice home and make my own pizza.
