Description
This is your chance to try the best flavors that Palermo and its long tradition has to offer. Led by an expert local guide you will enter various food places to try the most traditional Palermitan recipes, such as the pasta with sardines, the cacio all'argentiera or the veal rolls. You will visit places you would hardly find on your own, you will taste food samples totally unknown among the tourists. Your local guide will unveil the secrets of each recipes and its produce. We only go to family-run restaurants and delis that serve authentic and top quality delicacies, so forget tourist traps. This tour has been designed for travelers who want to experience new flavors, learn about local culture and make new friends. All guides are Palermitan, professional but also very laidback, so feel free to ask anything you have in mind and get ready to raise the glass multiple times. You will walk through the areas of the modern city center and Castellammare district. Come hungry!

Alessandro was our excellent guide. The food was fantastic and he brought food and culture history into the event always pointing out interesting and lesser known information. We had a lot of fun on this tour which our knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining guide Angelo. He kept us laughing and entertained throughout the tour. We tasted some fabulous food and wine including at a local enoteca and a trattoria right next to Teatro Massimo - the pasta served here was delicious and the servings extremely generous -we did not need dinner. We were also provided with some tasty dolce and provided with a great tour of Palermo.
