Hello, Thank you very much for this week spent in Marrackeh with plenty of excursion. We had a wonderful week. Excursions to the TOP of the TOP. Abdel is an exceptional guide, both for his kindness, availability and advice. I highly recommend this provider. Very cordially Virginie, Jean-Philippe, Anaïs, Tom and Arthur CARIES
We had a great day, led by Hamid, our driver. Indeed, he offered us different visits to and from, such as the pottery factory where we made our purchases from Mohammed. The visit to the Berber house was very rewarding and we were very well received. Other adventures enriched our day of discovery. Ourika is a destination near the Atlas and it has been quite different, with the meal by the river. A day to live, led by Hamid of course, who was a very good guide, very friendly and very attentive towards us.
It was a wonderful stay and we were lucky to have a driver, Hamid, very attentive to his customers, who made us discover beautiful places, he captivated us with the stories of Marrakech and the surroundings. Thanks to him, we had the chance to see beautiful landscapes, the Ourika Falls, the Agafay desert, the beautiful Chez Ali restaurant, as well as different companies like pottery or where women make beautiful products. Many thanks to Hamid for his kindness and if we return on holiday to Marrakech, we will ask Hamid again. Thank you to him for his kindness Annelise 🇨🇭 our driver Hamid "
Unfortunately the valley has been very transformed: a lot of concrete, far too much concrete by the river and by the paths leading to the waterfalls. Also many itinerant shops, it is a tourist trap.
We booked a day trip to visit the valleys around Marrakech. Our driver Hamid was of rare antique and kindness, and thanks to him we were able to discover this region and its beautiful landscapes, to exchange and to be enriched by his experience and his look on these places. Many thanks to him for this unforgettable day, from Reda, Océane, Philippe and Maryse.
Today we were in the Ourika Valley with two families together with our guide and driver Hamid. We had booked this as a private tour in advance via WhatsApp. The contact beforehand was very friendly and competent. Our guide Hamid was in front of the hotel at 9 a.m. this morning, as agreed. We visited a Berber house, went to the waterfall and then had our typical Moroccan meal at the Ourika stream. The tour is recommended and Hamid is a very good guide. Thanks to the team
I have joined a private tour to Ourika valley during our first family holidays in Marrakech and the whole experience was just perfect. Ourika is really very calm and the settings by the river are very sublime. We had a good tajine for lunch and our driver was very nice. I'd definitely recommend this travel agency.
Beautiful landscape We were very satisfied with the day spent in Ourika. Hamid, has been a warm welcoming and especially kind driver. Ourika’s visit was made by Souleyman who was our guide who lived up to our expectations. Very competent professionals, I recommend. Nadia
We had a wonderful travel thanks to the best driver Hamid and the lovely people who showed us around their area and the berber women who cooked an amazing lunch for us in their house! The nature of ourika valley is very pretty too - green (unlike Marrakech), fresh and clear rivers and waterfalls coming from the close by atlas mountains which we also climbed a little bit to have a nice view on the waterfalls. Unfortunately the place is really crowded by local moroccans who like to take a swim over there or just spend their day at the beautiful valley. Because of that it can get a bit loud, especially on the weekends they told us. However, it still has been a 5 star experience for us because those insights like how the berber people still live nowadays, to learn about their history, the history about the region and the atlas mountains in general and to be accompanied by such a great person like Hamid was just unique. Thank you so much!
The day-trip was fun and fairly interesting, but I think it needs a bit more thought. We were lucky that our driver was very enthusiastic and told us about all sorts of things on the way. He spoke excellent french, but not very good english, so it likely would have been an entirely different experience if you can’t speak to him in french. The drive was nice and scenic. The stop at the Women’s co-operative is basically a quick shopping opportunity - we gained very little from that stop and the lady who gave us the rehearsed speech turned quite nasty once we said that something there was too expensive for us to buy. The stop at the Berber house was good, a local Berber showed us around and was very nice. We then reached the town and walked up to the waterfalls. We paid 200 for the guide, which is probably more than is fair. The guide didn’t really do much except take photos of us (which we did appreciate, to be fair) - he definitely wasn’t a talker. Waterfalls are nice enough, but the view of the mountains was the best part. Lunch afterwards was really good, nice setting by the river. Overall a good day, mainly just nice to be out of the city.
