Take an Ourika Valley day trip from Marrakech into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Travel by air-conditioned minivan past mountain villages, olive groves, and views across the valley. Visit a traditional Berber home and a women-run argan oil cooperative. Continue to Setti Fatma, where a local mountain guide leads the waterfall walk. The route has rocks, steps, slopes, bridges, and uneven ground. You can skip the walk and wait beside the river. After the hike, enjoy free time by the Ourika River. Start your Ourika Valley day trip from Marrakech with pickup from your hotel, riad, or a nearby vehicle-accessible meeting point. Travel in an air-conditioned minivan toward the Atlas Mountains. Pass mountain villages, olive groves, and open valley views. Stop for photos when road and traffic conditions allow. Visit a traditional Berber home and a women-run argan oil cooperative.
Continue through Ourika Valley to Setti Fatma, a village beside the Ourika River. Meet the local mountain guide for a walk toward the waterfall. The walk usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. It includes rocks, steps, slopes, bridges, and uneven ground. Some parts may be wet or slippery. Wear shoes with good grip. You can skip the Ourika waterfall hike and wait beside the river or at a local café.
After the guided walk, enjoy free time beside the Ourika River. Choose lunch at a riverside restaurant. Lunch is included only with the selected lunch option. Drinks are not included. Meet your driver for the return trip to Marrakech. Drop-off is usually between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Traffic, weather, and road conditions may change the arrival time.

Great experience from start to finish! the pickup was on time and our guide made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the trip, we stopped at a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the mountains before heading to the Ourika valley. The hike to the waterfalls was amazing, with stunning scenery along the way, The food was delicious, and the whole day was well organized and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marrakech!
