A guided tour for us was being dropped off at the parking lot near our destination then we were on our own
We had a great experience, we booked a private tour of Kyoto and Nara attractions. We took our time and was not rushed. Danni our tour guide was great and spoke english well. We had a comfortable vehicle and ac was perfectly cold. Pick up was from our hotel which was convenient. I would definitely recommend Danni and his tour company.

We had a very fruitful time of mixing tourist sites and eating/shopping as we explored Osaka with Hassan. His English was decent and his history of Japan is growing.

Just want to set expectations, the driver was just that... a driver. NOT at tour guide, so don't expect anything more than someone driving to specific locations noted in the itinerary. Cup Noodles Museum was closed and I only found out because I looked it up during day, driver never informed us or even mentioned it.
Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your tour. We would like to clarify that our tour description clearly states that we provide an English-speaking driver, not a tour guide. The driver’s role is to drive you safely to the specified locations listed in the itinerary. While our drivers can communicate in English, their primary responsibility is transportation, not guiding or providing detailed explanations at each stop. Regarding the Cup Noodles Museum being closed, we regret any inconvenience caused. While our drivers do their best to accommodate our guests, we encourage travelers to check the availability of specific attractions in advance to ensure a smooth experience. We genuinely value your feedback and would appreciate if you could consider whether your review accurately reflects the service we offer. We are continuously working to improve our services, and your input is essential to that process. Thank you once again, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Warm regards, Milkyway Tours

Ali was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. He picked us up from the train station as we were arriving from Kyoto to Osaka and was simply the best. He speaks English very well and even found us a restaurant for lunch. We have three children under 5 and I don’t think we could have done this trip without him. He was also really knowledgeable about Japan and you can tell that he makes an effort to give you the best experience!
