Visit Munich's main Christmas market drag and uncover the history of pre-christian and modern day yule time tradition. Time included for browsing and shopping.
Near this historic square are two of Munich's most popular Christmas markets. Explore the festive courtyard of the Residence Palace before visiting a special market in the spirit of Medieval times. Here you will pick up a chalice of mulled wine and imagine what Munich must have been like a thousand years ago.

Uncover the history of Munich's famous noble family and the experience life in the middle ages at this famous market.
Hop on the subway and visit the notorious grounds of the Oktoberfest, transformed into Munich's largest and most offbeat Christmas market during November and December. Try your last mulled wine of the night and spend time browsing and shopping in the bazaar. The tour ends here, but you guide can accompany you back to the starting point at Marienplatz upon request.

We had a great tour with Hugo. We walked all over Munich and saw beautiful Christmas markets. We had lots to drink and eat. Hugo explained some history as well as information about classic treats. It was a lengthy tour with lots of walking so dress comfortably. We met people from all over.

Great way to get the location of the different markets on your first day. It made exploring on our own, and at you own pace much easier the next couple days. Highly recommend just for that purpose. The food is a bonus.

We are a family (2 teens and 2 adults) who went on the tour. Hugo was great fun and not only explained about the history of the markets but also got us sampling food and gluwein varieties that we wouldn't have otherwise tried. The non alcoholic drinks got hot chocolates and hot fruit juices. We went to a variety of markets - much easier eith a guide. We used tbe information gained to go back and explore the markets in more detail. While expensive for a family of 4, it was worth it.

We had an amazing time. Sophee was the best..Knowledgeable, outgoing and made the experience fun!! We went to Christmas markets we never would have found on our own. The food and drinks were great too. Highly recommend this tour.

We had a fabulous tour on our arrival day into Munich. While we didn’t have time to shop all of the markets/stalls (didn’t expect to) it gave us great insight to the vibe and places we wanted to make sure to get back to. Hugo was very friendly and knowledgeable.

It was great. Hugo was super nice and price was worth for the amount we got to eat and drink. It took up a good portion of the day but was well worth it. The size of the crowd in the group was minimal and Hugo made small talk with everyone. The atmosphere was perfect.
