This carefully curated Castle Side route takes you through the beautiful districts of Malá Strana & Hradčany, home to Prague’s most stunning historic scenery, palaces, embassies, and panoramic viewpoints. Along the way, you’ll see Prague Castle (main gate), Kampa Island, Strahov Monastery, the hidden New World neighborhood, Lennon Wall, and many quiet corners most visitors never discover. More than just a sightseeing tour, this experience combines history, local stories, food, drinks, and authentic Prague atmosphere into a deeper and more personal way to experience the city. ON THIS TOUR: As part of a small group, you get up hill by a tram, hear the Czech history intro to get a context, then you can enjoy a "welcome" special local monastery beer (or other drink). We will make stops along the way and show you the more hidden parts away from souvenirs and crowds, as well as the high-profile sights such as Charles Bridge, Prague Castle or John Lennon Wall. In 2/3 of the tour, you will sit around table and taste samples of the traditional Czech cuisine. The idea for this concept was: "Let’s say you only have 1 day to spend in Prague, what would be the best possible activity to do, to learn about the city history, today’s life and culture?" We also provide you with our guidebook - where we like to eat and drink, what are our favorite parts of Prague.
After we exit tram, we start walking through "The Castle District" - equally beautiful and much less chaotic compared to Prague’s Old Town.
12the century founded monastery with beautiful old library, but also St. Norbert Brewery located here. It’s where we sit and have a quick "welcome" drink.
Enjoy the "Bellavista" with a beautiful panorama view of the main historical Prague. We tell you about iconic Zizkov and Petrin towers, and more.
This church complex is a perfect stop to talk the complicated relationship between organized religion and today’s Czech Republic.
In our opinion, this is the most amazing neighborhood in Prague. Charming, still surprisingly unknown and well hidden. One of the highlights!
We stop outside the main gate, to tell you about the largest medieval castle complex in the world. Sometimes the timing is just right and we can even watch the main change of the guards (at noon)
Another iconic view where we can see for example the famous Dancing House - 90’s modern art building inspired by classic Hollywood musicals.
Back on the "Royal Path", we walk to the Jansky Vrsek area and go enjoy the local food tasting part - we always book a table at St. Martin.
We explain the significance of this love and peace symbolizing art-covered wall. Let’s get more into the cold war time anti-Soviet resistance.
We get to one of the most beautiful city island in Europe.
Final stop (before we get back to the office) is Prague’s oldest and most iconic bridge. Let us tell you about the special numerology, disasters that happened, or what happens when you touch the statue of Saint with five stars halo...

Ondra was a fantastic guide with lots of facts and history. The tour included a beer tasting and a fantastic meal at a local restaurant. He took us thru streets that are off the beaten path for a more intimate look into the local life. Very good tour.
We had a great experience with “One Prague Tour”. We had two guided tours. One with Ondre and another with Jakub. Great local guides, lots of knowledge about Prague. Personal and very friendly people. Also went to restaurants you would never have been to as a tourist and tasted really good locally food. 5 stars for those guys.
Ondrej was great - very knowledgeable about Czech history & the role Prague played in it. We got a wonderful overview of the major sites in Prague and had two stops at authentic local restaurants for a drink and then lunch. I highly recommend this tour!!
This tour was highly recommended by our hotel concierge and it didn't disappoint. Our guide, Andrew, was pleasant, engaging, and knowledgeable. The lunch stop was spectacular and the small group setting made it very enjoyable.
We had an amazing time walking around and learning about Praha. Our tour guide Andrew was very knowledgeable about all the things around Prague that one should experience. The food and beer were delicious. Would recommend to anyone and go again when we come back. It slightly snowed on our walk and was very cold but worth it.

This was a brilliant experience - I can't recommend it highly enough. Our tour guide Ondra was fabulous - so engaging and knowledgeable with just the right blend of history and fun facts. The beer stop at the monastery was lovely and we also had lunch with our group in a local restaurant. This was a great opportunity to meet other travellers and chat and try local food. We hope to come back to Prague soon and do the tour on the other side of the river. Thanks again for a wonderful experience - and such good value for money too.
This tour was excellent. It was a relaxed pace, but with lots of good insight into Prague’s history. We especially liked the tour guide.
This was an excellent tour full of interesting stops and information. It was a small and personal group which was appreciated. The inclusion of a beer and lunch was great. We tried lots of Czech dishes at a family owned restaurant. The pace was perfect for every age. The guide is phenomenal-engaged and friendly. I highly recommend this tour. The length is perfect.
