Itinerary
ON THIS TOUR: As part of a small group, you cross Prague’s oldest and most iconic bridge, hear the Czech history intro to get a context, then you can enjoy a "welcome" special local beer (or other drink). We will make stops along the way and show you the more hidden parts away from souvenirs and crowds, as well as the high-profile sights such as Charles Bridge, Old Town Square & Astronomical Clock or Jewish Quarter. In 2/3 of the tour, you will sit around table and taste samples of the traditional Czech cuisine. The idea for this concept was: "Let’s say you only have 1 day to spend in Prague, what would be the best possible activity to do, to learn about the city history, today’s life and culture?" We also provide you with our guidebook - where we like to eat and drink, what are our favorite parts of Prague.
Old Town is a labyrinth of little cobbled streets, passages and hidden courtyards - on our one of a kind route, get to see both main sights and off the beaten path!
We tell you more about legendary reformer priest Jan Hus, oh and before that, we have a local beer/ other drink :)
The Estates Theatre was built during the late 18th century in response to Enlightenment thought regarding general access to the theatre, and theatres themselves demonstrating the cultural standards of a nation. One of the Estates Theatre’s many claims to glory is its strong link with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who conducted the world premiere of his opera Don Giovanni here in October 1787.
We’ll hit the "Royal Path" and see the gothic Powder Tower, that used to be one of the original city gates. It separates the Old Town from the New Town.
One of the most important historical sites in Prague, this block of buildings, probably built in the 11th century, was originally a fortified merchants’ yard, where customs duties – ungelt – were collected.
After we criss cross the hidden streets, we get to Prague’s main historical square, where we spend some time and give you a solid overview.
World unique astronomical clock, we’ll describe and tell you why it’s special. It’s much more than just the each full hour time show :)
Prague’s "most expensive street", surprisingly all pseudo-historical and not that old...
We’ll eat and drink in this traditional Czech cuisine restaurant.
Europe's oldest active synagogue in the heart of Prague’s old jewish district. We discuss the uneasy past of local jewish community and the holocaust, but also "Golem of Prague" legend and more!
Impressive 19th-century cultural venue with concert halls, art gallery and exhibition spaces, Prague’s so-called "House of arts". This is our final stop.

A great guided tour of the old town. The guide was awesome. Taste local cuisine and beer. The guide also provided tips on where to eat and where to go to see the city. 😄
Did the morning Old-town tour with family and loved it. Teens/young adult kids loved Kuba’s non-embellished historical facts and introduction to Czech culture and foods. Very personable! Groups are small and he was very respectful of keeping us shaded and hydrated in the searing heat. Nice selection of typical meals and drink during the tour was great. Highly recommend! I have previously done his other tour on the castle side and signed my whole extended family up for this one. Highlight of our Prague stay!
Jacob was brilliant. Very knowledgeable. Very friendly and likeable guide. Beer early on in the trip was great. Food towards the end was all delicious and there was plenty of it. Lovely small group. Loved that Jacob took us to places that we would not normally see and food that he loved to eat in a restaurant in which he often ate. Great recommendations for bars, experiences and restaurants too. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Great tour with knowledgable guide. Learned a lot and experienced the food and drink of Czech
An excellent combination of exploring the Old Town and tasting traditional dishes—of course with Prague’s famous beers! One of the best and most worthwhile food tours I’ve ever experienced.
Great tour with Jakub! We were lucky enough to have just the two of us on the tour so enjoyed a private experience. Jakub showed us a different side of Prague with some food, drinks and stories inbetween and also shared a ton of great recommendations. Very good option for those of us who can't choose the type of tour they want, combining all the best bits. However, if you want a more comprehensive tour of Prague, you should probably choose a different tour.
Jakub was an amazing tour guide, so friendly and passionate about Prague! This tour is super interesting, real history and cool spots shown by a true local. It’s great value for money, the food and beer was so good!! The lunch included was the highlight of my time in Prague.
This was a great way to start our trip to Prague. It was just my husband, daughter and I with Jacob. It was more like having an old friend show you around. Got to see less crowded side streets and unique spots. Plus a great meal at a restaurant we would have never found. We left with a map and recommendations on what else to do while we were here.
Nice lead. You get a little insight into the good cuisine and delicious beer. Not for people with walking difficulties.
Thank you so much for your review! :) We're delighted that you enjoyed the insights into Czech cuisine and beer. As this is a classic walking tour through historic Prague, it does involve some walking – we do mention this in the description. Thank you for taking note!
Our tour guide Ondrej was interesting and knowledgeable of the area. Took us to a great place for a beer and super tasty snack. Showed us hidden areas. The group was small and intimate. Would recommend to anyone visiting Prague.
