It was very good is in the company of everyone in this place. The super cozy environment where I was able to learn a little more about ceramics, and some techniques. They were extremely friendly and dear. Love the time we had together I felt super at home and with good memories of Egypt. Certainly I could not have stopped doing this experience and highly recommend if you want to do it alone or in a group because it is worth every moment of your time in the company of these more than nice people. I felt very happy to have learned a bit with them from this millennial art that I will bring to life this new knowledge. I went alone because I had no one to go with and it was definitely the best choice I made. Super recommend
I really in the beginning I booked for my grandchildren to play with the clay and explore a new craft didn’t except that I love it even more than them 😅 In the workshop they really teach you from scratch no experience needed! I loved this day and would do it again.
I had a truly enjoyable time with the team, who passionately shared their knowledge, skills, and tips as I tried building my own pots, using different kind of techniques -some new to me although this was not my first time attending such courses. I really appreciated the hand-on initiation of spinning on the manual wheel (I only knew the electric one)! If you are looking for a nice experience beyond the usual tourist places and want to try something creative, new, and a quiet place, I highly recommend Hakeem’s workshop and his immersive pottery course along with Nada and Hasseim. Around a cup tea, laughter, sharing and good memories will also be part of the adventure.
It was My first in Egypt and wanted to try something local out of the touristic known tours found this tour. They teach you all the basics of pottery and how to shape with your hands and even they let my try on the Traditional wheel it was a bit hard in the beginning but they tell you the whole process and steps. I really enjoyed this and found out an Artistic side in my personality. The neighborhood is very colorful and artistic and full of pottery and you can visit the hanging church next to the place. I Highly recommend it!!
