Valerie was absolutely fabulous! So knowledgeable about the history and the many back-stories of the fallen.
Thank you for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the experience. Sharing the history and the personal stories behind those who fell is something we are truly passionate about, and we're glad it helped make the visit meaningful and memorable. We greatly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again in the future. Joe www.tour-france-experience.com
When we arrived, we could not find our driver, so I had to call her. Because of D-Day, there were all kinds of ceremonies which we were not informed about, and the visitor center was closed. They cancelled our transport so we could not get to Omaha Beach or the memorial because it was closed. We were supposed to get food and drinks which we never got, and our tour guide didn't know anything about it. We couldn't get transportation back, and we should have been warned about that. We paid $702.00 for less than 2 hours. Our tour guide was very nice, but her English wasn't the best for an English speaking guide.I requested a partisl refund.0
Dear Customer, After reading your comment, I was initially surprised by what you described. However, after reviewing the situation, I now understand the confusion you experienced. After checking the Viator website, I can see that the presentation may indeed be misleading. Viator displays both the inclusions and exclusions within the same section: items included in the tour are marked with a check mark, while excluded items are marked with a cross. Unfortunately, it appears that this may have led to a misunderstanding. To clarify, transportation, food, and drinks are not included in this tour. We are sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this may have caused. However, the issue seems to stem from the way the information is displayed on the Viator platform rather than from a service that we failed to provide. The services you mentioned are not part of the product we offer. For this reason, we are unable to grant the refund you requested. We would also like to note that you asked for the tour to be completed within two hours so that you could catch your train afterward. In addition, your guide, Odile, informed us that she kindly used her personal vehicle to take you to a place where you could have something to eat, even though transportation was not included in the tour. We hope this explanation clarifies the situation. We also encourage all customers to carefully review the product details and inclusions before making a purchase online. Kind regards, Joe
The experience was excellent. The guide was extremenly knowledgable and very nice. We highly recommend!
Our guide, Erwan, was waiting for us when we arrived ten minutes early. And what an information packed, interesting, and very knowledgeable guide he was. Having a great guide is very helpful when you are witnessing such a broad sweep of history. Two thumbs up for the museum, cemetery, and the walk down to the beach.
