We had an excellent experience with our tour guide and driver. the tour guide was very knowledgeable and she even had laminated pictures for us to understand what we were seeing in Olympia. She explained things well and was very personable. We highly recommend this tour company. One suggestion is to have an over the head microphone so that audio can be clear while presenting the information. Excellent experience so thank you so much for making this day special for our family.
My family of 14 had a lovely time in Olympia! Everyone was pleasantly happy with the stop at Klio's Honey Farm and even the short time to spend at the beach. The Olympic ruins were interesting but so vast that we didn't take the time to see everything, especially since it was sooo HOT! Our tour escort Anastasia was wonderful! She helped us to avoid the crowds at the museum and was very communicative and accommodating. She was also very patient with us since we had a couple elderly grandmas who moved about slowly. Highly recommend!
Olympia was our first private tour with Viator so we didn't know what to expect, as it turns out we had nothing to fear. Charis our guide of the area was so helpful and attentive and the guide he arranged for the tour of the ruins was an actual archaeologist!
This was a great experience. My wife and I took our family (9 people in total). We highly recommend it. I really didn’t know what to expect at the honey bee farm, but we really enjoyed the visit there. Going to the Olympia museum and ruins was great. We were able to stand at the site where the Olympic torch is lit for each of the games. Nancy, our guide, was amazing. She did a wonderful job. This was genuinely a private tour. Our driver and guide were very accommodating to our unique group and timeline. They picked us up and dropped us off at the port where our ship was docked. I would recommend having a licensed tour guide (which was offered and arranged by the company for an additional 120 euros) to accompany your group inside the Olympia archaeological site. This tour was a wonderful experience.
Great tour with amazing places to visit! Olympia was epic! Recommend a professional guide, very good! The honey farm was beautiful, fun, and delicious! Love the family feel and authenticity! Beach was beautiful and a great way to end the day!
Nothing could have been better than the tour Andreas customized for our group. Maybe the best part was how he sequenced the stops to avoid the crowds. This really matters! He is friendly, reliable, answers all questions, and became a friend by the end of our tour. My favorite takeaway was hearing about his family history of making olive oil. He kindly picked up small samples for us from his home on our way back to the shipl Great olive oil!
Our driver is very much accommodating and we enjoyed our tour! The weather was nice too! Our family and friends enjoyed this tour a lot!
Had a very nice time. Olympia is a must see site. The tour of the honey farm was very interesting, and the owner couldn't have been nicer. Had a drink at a nice restaurant overlooking the sea. Van was comfortable and guide was friendly.
We took a minibus from our cruise ship to the Olympic ruins and then to Klio’s Honey Farm. The driver and guide were very friendly and accommodating of the young children in our group. The minibus had plenty of room for the 11 of us, was very comfortable, and in excellent condition. The value was far superior than booking through the cruise line. I would highly recommend
Our half day tour in Olympia was fabulous, Our tour guide Charis gave us lots of information on the area, and after walking around Olympia we stopped at Klio’s honey farm- a must do! It was so fascinating to learn about the bees and ancient processes that are still in use today. Next, we stopped at a local restaurant to grab a gyros, yum! It was hot out so we decided to head back to the cruise ship. If you’re on a cruise, the town of Katakolo looks quaint and had a lot of shops to walk around. Otherwise a half day was the perfect amount of time for our group to see Olympia, the honey farm, and grab a local Greek meal.
