Worst tour ever

The tour, NYC Mafia and Ghost tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island was horrible. First of all the only things we received from the description of the tour, were the ferry rides to the Statue and Ellis island. Everything else that was described in the tour, we did not get. We did not get a guided tour of anything- we were told to explore on our own and meet back for the ferry- we did not hear any ghosts stories even though we repeatedly asked about them- we heard no stories of the NYC Mafia. It was absolutely the worst tour I have ever been on. We paid almost $100 per ticket and basically got a ride on a ferry. I sent an email complaining about this tour. I have not had a response.

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your experience did not match the tour description and that it fell far short of your expectations. We understand how disappointing it must have been to expect a guided experience with storytelling and commentary, only to receive what felt like a self-guided visit focused mainly on transportation. We also regret that your inquiries during the tour were not addressed as expected, and we understand your frustration regarding the lack of response to your follow-up message. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and your comments are being taken seriously as we review the situation with the relevant team. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we sincerely apologize that your experience was not what you had booked and paid for.
