Great tour for a hot day because you spend most of the time on a bus and can just listen to the narration and look out the window. This is a tour of parts of New York City that most people don’t get see. You are traveling through four out of the five boroughs. Stops at the Apollo Theater in Harlem (currently undergoing renovations), Bronx (Yankee Stadium and a bodega), Queens (Worlds Fair Park), and DUMBO neighborhood by the Brooklyn Bridge. There is also an optional Coney Island add on that we didn’t do. If you don’t do the Coney Island add on, then you have to find your way back to the starting point. On the weekend, with less traffic, we were at the DUMBO stop by 12:30. Going to Coney Island adds an additional two hours. Starting point was by Grand Central at the Hyatt Grand Central Hotel and the tour left at 8:30. Guide (Jorge) was funny and personable but also tough enough to keep a tour bus group of about sixty people moving. Had a great knowledge of New York City. Tour is a pretty good value as well as taking a cab or uber to all of these places would cost hundreds of dollars and then you wouldn’t get a guide either. Highly recommend this tour if you have been to a lot of the major sites in Manhattan and looking for something a little different.

Had a great day with Sara and our driver ( he was a baseball fan) but I don’t remember his name! He was a fabulous driver and Sara was so knowledgeable. I don’t know how she remembers all the facts. Would highly recommend this tour.
