NYC City Tour: Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial, Wall Street

Description
Spend your morning discovering the heart of Manhattan with a local to show you its biggest sights, from the skyscrapers of Wall Street to the pools and engraved names at the 9/11 Memorial. Start with the Financial District to get fascinating insight into the history of finance, politics, and power in NYC (and the world) as you walk by famous sights like Federal Hall and Trinity Church. Then head to the 9/11 Memorial, where you'll discover the impact of this day on the city and the world as you pause for a moment of reflection at the country's largest man-made waterfalls. We'll walk part of the Canyon of Heroes, visit many more beloved landmarks, and even glimpse the Statue of Liberty from across the bay. Then board the ferry to see the statue up close. You can tour the Statue of Liberty Museum and even continue on to Ellis Island if you wish. Return at your leisure. The guided tour duration is 2-hours. Your trip to Liberty Island is self-guided.

See the towering steeple of beautiful Trinity Church, but don’t miss the historic churchyard in its shadow. Here, Alexander Hamilton lies buried.

See the famous symbol of American commerce, often called the Wall Street Bull, and snap a photo to commemorate the occasion!
This Beaux-Arts landmark was built in the early 20th century to collect duties. Learn about its history and significance as you admire its architecture.
Discover the impact of this day on the city and the world as you pause for a moment of reflection at the country's largest man-made waterfalls

The tour company canceled at the last minute. The excise: no other guests. So…. Let’s make this a regular occurrence for them. DO NOT USE EXPERIENCEFIRST THEY ARE A TERRIBLE COMPANY THAT DOES NOT LIVE UP TO THEIR COMMITTMENTS
Dave was friendly and knowledgeable. Our family of six had a great experience and learned a lot along the way.
The tour was cancelled and we did not receive email, text or phone notification until an hour before after the taking time and expense to get to the meet up location
Hi Jonathan, We're very sorry that your tour was canceled. We did send multiple messages the day before informing you of the cancelation. We're sorry about any inconveniences and frustrations this caused. Thank you.
Justin was fantastic!! He gave a wonderful and informative tour. Very friendly and fun!
Our guide Amy was extraordinary. Highly recommended this tour. Amy’s knowledge on f the history of New York was fascinating so much so even our teenage children were intrigued. The walking portion was beautiful and an easy walk. The Statue of Liberty experience is definitely worth the add-on!
This was an outstanding tour. Ross, our guide, a native New Yorker who was in the city on 9/11 used all his knowledge and experience to bring the tragic story to life. Not only did we visit and hear details about the day itself but masses of interesting and relevant background to the events prior to 9/11 followed by the story of the post 9/11 reconstruction and remembrance. Strongly recommended tour.
With the exception for the pouring rain on the ferry to Liberty and Ellis Island, all was very, very good! Paul is very knowledgeable on NY history and was very entertaining during his presentation.
Our instructor was amazing, very informative, I added his picture, because I could not remember his name
We had an amazing experience on the NYC in a Day Tour with Mindy C. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about New York City. Throughout the tour, she shared fascinating history, local stories, and hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own. The pace was perfect, she kept the group engaged, and she was always happy to answer questions and offer recommendations for the rest of our stay. Her enthusiasm for the city made the entire experience enjoyable and memorable. If you’re visiting New York and want to make the most of your time, we highly recommend taking this tour with Mindy C. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
Tour was well worth it. Very informative presentation with personal insights from a local tour guide.
