Guided hiking tour around Milan, with 5 food stops, as well as a little stories around the city's landmark. Our guide was really sweet, but was definitely relatively new - the food was fine, but not something you were blown backwards of. The focus was on quantity and not so much quality. So feeding to make sure to make several smaller samples of different specialties, instead of the equivalent of three full meals.
A great guide, very delicious food and wonderful insights away from the tourist streams. An unforgettable experience and highly recommended!
Lyama was a charming and friendly host. Great way to explore Milan in our first day. Lots of information about the city and the food. Loads of scrummy food, I don’t need to eat again for a week! Thank you.
We had a lovely day with Lyama. We were the only people on the tour, which was nice as it felt more personalised. There was plenty of food (so much that we took some back to the hotel). The pizza slices and flatbread wraps were particularly delicious, best I’ve ever tasted! Lyama was very friendly, chatty and informative. Would highly recommend booking a trip with her as a guide for a great afternoon out. Was definitely value for money.
A great walking tour of Milan with some tasty food choices. You won’t leave this tour hungry! My tour guide, Buse, was excellent! She provided some great info on the history of the food and the city itself.
We enjoyed the experience of tasting various delicious foods of the city while learning ancient and modern aspects of the culture and history of the city. Buse our tour guide was awesome! She went out of the way to be accommodating and was so knowledgeable. Get ready to go to various locations in the city and be fed to the max!
This tour was a disappointment. There were five food stops - two were closed for August vacations and were replaced with Italian chain/fast food restaurants for pizza and piadinas! Terrible! The food that was highlighted was Roman, Sicilian and Emiglia Romanian - as if Milano has no food specialties of its own! The tour guide shared no real interesting facts about either the food or the neighborhoods - and the neighborhoods we walked through are terrible with tons of graffiti and absolutely no Italian charm at all. And most of the time we were just walking - for hours! - with no sense of where we were and what we were looking at. This tour is not worth the time or the money.
Hello Unfortunately, this was not the usual tour, some spots were closed for holiday without warning us beforehand. We offered you a refund to apologize and you refused. Your review is in no way a reflection of our activity. We explained this to you, offered you a refund, but you refused and chose to leave a bad review...
Our guide was very knowledgeable. I saw a lot of the sites I was looking forward to seeing. The food was great. I especially liked the pizza.
Very nice gourmet tour, through Milan and its lesser known places. Food lovers will not be disappointed.
Best food tour we've been on. Ragit combines his love of food, Milan and meeting and talking to new people. It was a 5 course walk in brilliant sunshine with Ragit giving us not only food facts but also info on the route we took. We had cannoli, Roman Pizza, a flatbread sandwich, Arinchi and Gelato all inclusive of the price paid. As it was so hot, Ragit also provided water for free. I highly recommended this tour
