An impeccable trip to Egypt: Organization of 10, a luxury guide, and an unforgettable experience. We recently returned from a trip to Egypt and, honestly, it exceeded all our expectations. If you are looking for a stress-free and well-organized experience, here are the details of our experience. The Riverboat: MS Nile Marquise The boat lived up to expectations: impeccable and very clean facilities. Amenities: The buffet is very complete and varied. The café is extremely cozy, with very comfortable sections for large groups and two giant TV screens. Leisure: The terrace is the ideal place to relax with its pool, jacuzzi, sun loungers, and ambient music. Detail: They have a bar with alcohol (beer at €8, a reasonable price compared to the average of €5 we saw outside). The service was excellent: friendly, polite, organized, and very punctual. We would repeat without hesitation!
This was not a 5 star boat or experience. The cabin was small...no room for 2 suit cases. The cabin air conditioning smelt foul. The meals were either bland or too salty... Buffet every meal similar stuff day after day...salads were okay. Meal times irregular. Reception staff incompetent.
Superb trip on the CONCERTO 3, cleanliness of the boat, staff with great care, with impeccable representation, varied and different cuisine for each meal, very nice presentations of dishes and desserts, congratulations to the brigade and the chef! Maitre d' at the Top as well as the waiters, room staff at the Top too. Room in the middle of the boat on the 1st floor non-noisy and very large and very well equipped with its bay to admire the landscape. Thank you for this excellent stay with you, we wish you an excellent season, very cordially Pascal and Véronique F
Very good facilities. Excellent attention from all staff. International food. Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds. Bathroom with small bathtub, which makes the stay very comfortable (most have small shower only). I would suggest improving evening activities, to have more fun. I recommend it.
The rooms very clean .. the very kind staff... the great food all perfect was a really great experience
On November 25, we started our family trip. We have been super comfortable and very protected at all times. We've seen a lot of security throughout. Very friendly and professional staff. The waiters a charm, Ibrahim and Ahmed, our waiters are very friendly people and I work very professionally. The food, of course very different from ours was very good, there are things we liked more than others of course. But overall very good. Presentation of excellent meals. The rooms very nice and the boat too. There will be better boats, surely, but this one is of a higher standard. It's not a cruise ship like Costa or MSC, it goes down a river, big but a river. Thanks to everyone and a hug to our guide also Ahmed Sami, Meya Meya😜. We will return to Egypt 🙏🇪🇬
An unforgettable experience for everyone, the cruise is very welcoming and was very clean, the staff very nice, the varied food, there was both typical Egyptian and international food, for all tastes, I lacked gluten-free bread, because gluten-free there were not many options, the pool a little small, served to give you a soak as we sailed and contemplate from there the sunset, the store also had good prices, and has a small gym, overall very well.
Looking forward all my life to my trip to Egypt since I was little and I find myself on this 4-nt cruise, in CABIN 207, NEXT TO THE ENGINE ROOM, 4 NIGHTS SLEEP, GASOLINE PESTILENCE, 😵💫😔, I asked you please to change me, so I couldn't sleep and breathe, and all you said was, we're full, I'm sorry, I told you that if you didn't have an emergency room, you told me no, solution, nothing, I had to go 4 nights without sleep barely, with pills and helmets, stoppers and super tired every day, when I had to go on excursions. (More than angry I'm sad, pq don't give a pepper). Just tell you , that on the tours there were other couples of other boats and there is always the cabin that is next to the motor room and the customers do not sleep, so I hope you are lucky and do not touch you 🙏🏽🍀 I have to tell you that the people who work there are wonderful and the food great.
Room: The space was ok and clean. But the room didn’t feel sturdy. Some parts of the flooring were “soft” and when stepped on went inwards. The bed was as also crazy hard and felt like a rock. Many of my tour mates agreed. Toilet: Water pressure was really weak. The soap and shampoo were not good quality and basically could use one shower gel for each shower. Hairdryer was also pathetic. Also, no dental kit was provided. Wifi: no wifi available which was fine. But the PAID wifi was only available in the bar and reception which was ??? Food: Mediocre most of the time. Garlic bread wasn’t hot and always ran out. The chef cooked meals (roast beef, salmon etc) was always dry. Fried stuff was ok though. They DID NOT have water available during meals which was ???. Overall not the best experience I had during my time in Egypt.
We travelled on the MS Concerto II in June 2025 during our organized trip to Egypt. We slept 4 nights on board the boat, from Monday to Thursday evening, from Luxor to Aswan. On paper, everything seemed good but we quickly disillusioned. Firstly, the behaviour of other passengers, namely a group of vulgar, untenable and above all rude Spaniards, caused chaos on board the ship throughout the cruise without any comment being made to them; they necessarily consumed hectolitres of alcohol. Second, the upper deck where the pool was located seemed really worn out and tired. The wooden deckchairs were old, with unsuitable cushions [they were too large compared to the deckchair] and especially stained. The fake lawn left black marks on the feet and things, probably due to soot from the chimneys. The arbors also seemed to be old times with wobbly chairs and armchairs [some even gave way under the weight of overweight customers]. Thirdly, as we sailed towards the Esna lock, small boats moored at the keel of the boat, with “salvage” vendors hailing passengers in Spanish [should we see here an over-representation of the Hispanic population in Egypt?] to sell them towels, fabrics or other pareos. For a full day, they were not able to rest or enjoy the cabin because they were right under our windows without any responsible person driving them away [despite our complaints]. Fourthly, we suffered from food poisoning on board with food that cannot be identified. Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea were common from Wednesday to Friday. We ended up not eating anything. In addition, traditional Egyptian food was not on the menu. Only food destined for Western tourists. Fifthly, the activities and activities offered were really "cheap" and seemed to be aimed at an audience that did not seem to correspond to us. In addition, the time allocated to visits was a little sketchy, especially in Komombo or Edfu where we had to wait more than 30 minutes at the dock until the boats lined up properly to leave when we would have had plenty of time to enjoy more. A fire alarm sounded continuously without anything being done throughout the cruise. It was a really disturbing sound. Finally, as we were returning the cabin map to leave, the crew on board aggressively inveighed against us and told us that we should tip the crew in a specially designed envelope. They follow us and make us understand that we have to pay. The only tips we gave went to our waiter, who was smiling, friendly and considerate throughout the trip. The only one who was worthy of a reward. In short, a catastrophic, boring and very long experience where we spent more time waiting than enjoying because even a street trip was a fighter's journey with an aggressive local population and demanding money.
