It is a long trip but it is worth it, the place is magnificent 🥰 the bus ride went very well, a stop every 2 hours and our driver Daniel was very good. On site, we started with the cruise and thanks to the people who recommended the waterproof pouch for the phone: perfect for photos and videos even up close. Then a walk in the park with Mary, our guide, who honestly was useless except to take us from point A to point B and tell us we are leaving in 10 minutes. No info, anecdote, nothing about the area. Afterwards, free time and fireworks for a 10:30 PM departure. Difficult to sleep on the bus but that is part of the trip! I recommend this excursion without a problem despite the 14 hours on the bus
We are waiting for 3 hours (for now) some return, because the bus broke and we are standing on the road, in the sun, hungry, without lunch... I understand that there is not much to do but the bus is full and until now, nothing has been resolved, we are all lying and sitting on the ground waiting for some return, very sad this situation, we will lose time from the ride, and we are stressed and tired, even inside the bus can wait because it is too hot
One of the most incredible places on earth I have ever been to. Made my friends at home incredibly jealous
The bus was in good condition and the timings were well maintained. However, please don’t miss Cave of the Winds if you are looking for the complete Niagara Falls experience. Our tour guide in Niagara Falls could have also communicated the timings for the fireworks better, as we almost missed the whole thing due to incorrect timings shared by him. Overall, I would still recommend this tour for the experience.
A five star feedback. I truly recommend to chose this operator. One of the best tour operators we had. The time slot of the trip: from early morning departure v.s. late night allowed a perfect timing for the sights viewing, including the 10 pm fireworks. One remarkable feature was the communication and the desire to provide best services to the customers. Then the driver kept a very tight schedule which was great considering the length of the trip. The bus was as expected, very good travel conditions. The local guide at Niagara Falls was very good and give us many useful info. In conclusion a memorable trip.
Impeccable driver and amazing guide! An unforgettable experience; I recommend the afternoon visit to then enjoy the show with lights and fireworks in the evening!
The trip was fantastic. Everything was perfectly organized. I thought the journey would be more tiring, but it was fine. The waterfall was amazing. You definitely have to take the boat ride—that was the best part. I highly recommend this agency. Everything was great. Marzena and Marcin
Amazing trip and one word for the view of niagra falls is fantastic worth every penny spend for the trip .must do for every tone who is visiting Newyork.
High fee, bus was extremely noisy and all the window seats already occupied from Newyork and side seats only left for jersey city passengers. So couldn’t sleep due to such slanting side seats and noise. The 4 front seats were exclusively reserved for driver to sleep. Had a very bad experienced. The guide was good with no any extra description of the place and falls. Time spend mostly on the bus.
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the seating arrangement and bus ride did not meet your expectations. As noted during the booking process, passengers boarding in New Jersey have access to the remaining available seats after passengers boarding in New York. For guests who have specific seating preferences, we strongly recommend reserving seats in advance to guarantee their preferred location on the bus, especially on an overnight or long-distance tour. Regarding the price, we strive to provide a full-day Niagara Falls experience at a competitive value. The tour includes round-trip transportation from the New York City area, a professional guide, and many hours at one of the world's most famous natural attractions. For comparison, a one-hour horse-drawn carriage ride in Central Park can often cost as much as, or more than, the price of an entire Niagara Falls tour. The front seats are reserved for operational and safety purposes, including required driver rest arrangements during extended trips. We appreciate your positive comments about the guide and thank you for sharing your feedback. It helps us continue improving our services for future travelers.
Niagara Falls guide Brian fantastic.. as for the bus and the drivers horrible unprofessional, no customer service. Very rude we all felt unsafe driving. Feelng unsafe and all over the road. The bus itself rundown very rough. On our return trip we got on the bus and horrible swell we all had to get air fresher from the toilet to spray in cabin... safe not concerned at they looked tired and just wanted to get going... no lighting working but the falls end perfect
Thank you for your feedback. We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed Niagara Falls and that Brian helped make the experience memorable. We do want to clarify that safety is always our top priority. Our drivers are licensed professionals who rotate every 2 hours throughout the trip and rest for over 6 hours while guests are enjoying Niagara Falls. At no point was safety compromised. Regarding your comments about the drivers being "horrible," "unprofessional," and "rude," we would like to note that after communicating with you following the tour, you indicated that you did not have any direct interaction or conversation with either driver during the trip. While we respect your overall impression of the experience, it is difficult for us to understand or investigate concerns regarding driver behavior when no specific interaction or incident was reported. Regarding the bus odor, we also appreciate you acknowledging that the vehicle was clean at departure. On long-distance trips with many passengers over several hours, odors can unfortunately develop during the journey despite regular cleaning. We also repeatedly remind passengers throughout the trip not to use the restroom for anything other than urination, specifically to help keep the cabin comfortable for everyone. Our buses are standard forward-facing touring vehicles commonly used for extended tours to Niagara Falls. Some travelers find long-distance journeys more comfortable than others, especially on a 20+ hour excursion. We also encourage guests to communicate any concerns directly to our team during the tour so we can assist immediately whenever possible. Thank you again for traveling with Royal City Tours.
