For a truly memorable visit to Niagara, take a thrilling journey down the Niagara River on an open-air jet boat. There's no better - or wetter - way to enjoy the beautiful scenery and amazing white water of the Niagara River. You will experience what we like to call our white water playground where the Class V Devil's Hole Rapids will get you completely soaked. After that thrilling experience you will travel up the river to the farthest point in the trip where you will see the famous Niagara Whirlpool. The Whirlpool and Niagara Falls are separated by a stretch of Class VI rapids that are unnavigable (and illegal) to pass through. This tour departs from the Canadian side, and you return to the same location.

Important Information

- Arrive promptly 45 minutes prior to departure time to register, sign participation agreement and hear pre-trip safety orientation. If you miss the safety orientation, we will move you to the next available trip time without notice (which could be the next day) so it is important to arrive on time.
- The participation agreement thoroughly explains to anyone interested in the trip, all pertinent aspects of jet-boating including personal health requirements. Refusal to sign the agreement will not merit a credit or refund.
- Wheelchair accessibility - if assistance is required, passenger must provide their own carer. Guests must be able to sit on a bench seat and support themselves by holding on to a bar in-front of each seat without assistance.
- Late or no-show participants will not receive a refund. You have 24 hours prior to your trip to cancel for a full refund. Trips can be rescheduled until 24 hours before the departure at no added charge (subject to availability).
- Trips rescheduled within 24 hours of the trip time will be subject to an additional 10% rebooking fee.
- Guests must arrive on site via their own form of transportation - Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours is not responsible for getting you to the dock.

- There is a minimum height requirement of 44″ tall for the WET Jet seats. Children will be measured on-site, and those who do not meet the requirements will not be permitted to ride.
- Guests under the age of 13 and/or under 100 lbs are not permitted to sit in the first 3-4 rows of any vessel. (All loading and guest seating is at the sole discretion of the Captain and Crew of the vessel).
- Guests age 13-15 years old must be seated with a guest who is 16 years or older to ride the first 3-4 rows of the boat, with an adult chaperone(18+) on board. Guests age 16-17 years old can ride the first 3-4 rows of the boat with an adult chaperone (18+) on board. Guests under 18 years old are not permitted to ride without an adult chaperone (age 18+).

Absolutely exhilarating! — thrilling, fun, and informative! What a unique experience! Our guide, Connor and Charlie, our boat captain did a fabulous job! A great mixture of shooting the rapids and getting soaked mixed with cruising along, speeding along, taking in info & more!!
What an incredible experience! The Niagara Falls Canada Open-Top (Wet) Jet Boat Tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we boarded, our host Jackie kept everyone entertained with her fun personality, great sense of humor, informative commentary about the Niagara River and its history, and even some singing that had everyone smiling and laughing along. The ride itself was absolutely thrilling. The powerful jet boat sped through the rolling rapids, giving us an exciting combination of adventure, beautiful scenery, and plenty of laughs. Captain Nick expertly piloted the boat through the swirling waters and challenging rapids with impressive skill and confidence, making us feel safe while still delivering an adrenaline-pumping ride. A few tips for future riders: definitely wear water shoes, as you will get completely soaked from head to toe. The provided poncho is appreciated, but it's more useful for warmth than for keeping you dry. The water is relentless, especially if you're seated near the front of the boat. We were in the front row, and the force of the water hitting us was surprisingly powerful—each wave felt like a blast of icy river water! It's all part of the fun, but be prepared for a very wet and wild ride. One thing to note is that the water is super cold, so this tour is probably best enjoyed on a hot summer day when getting drenched feels extra refreshing. Despite being soaked, we couldn't stop smiling and laughing throughout the entire adventure. If you're looking for an exciting and unique way to experience Niagara Falls and the Niagara River, I highly recommend this tour. Huge thanks to Jackie for being such a fantastic host and entertainer and to Captain Nick for an amazing ride. Their combination of knowledge, enthusiasm, humor, and professionalism made this an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend it!

We experienced the Open-Top Wet Jet Boat Tour on July 2, 2026. Perfect timing - during a heat wave. We purchased our tickets online ($78.95) and arrived 45-minutes early for check-in and safety orientation. Upon arrival, there was an employee directing us where to park and we filled out the waivers online before we arrived so check-in was quick. There was space in the time slot prior to our's, so they fit us in earlier - which was nice! Behind check-in, there are complimentary lockers for small bags and personal items. Further behind the lockers, there is seating for orientation where we met our amazing guide, Isabella, for safety orientation. I had a waterproof phone case with a wrist strap and we wore waterproof birks. I inquired beforehand to ensure they were allowed even though there was no ankle strap and it was permitted. We sat in the front row and were completely soaked! The boat fills up to knee height with water, then drains out. I often get motion sickness, so I took a gravol beforehand. Towards the end of the boat ride, I felt a little nauseous but it was well worth the fun. The boat has a go pro that records and takes photos that are available after the experience. Your picture is also taken prior to the ride since you travel into international waters. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Isabella is an amazing guide and made the experience spectacular. As we rode out to the rapids, she shared many fun facts about the area. Jason is an awesome boat driver.
This is soooooo fun! Wild ride and def for older kids. Makayla was a great guide. We wished we could do it 2 more hours. Lol

This was the best experience of the whole trip. Alexis our tour guide was awesome and Captain Charlie handled the boat with ease. Experiencinh the rapids like this was thrilling. Bring dry clothes cause you will get soaked
My 3 friends and I went today and everything was 10/10 our trip leader was Isabella and our captain was Simon. We loved it so much that as soon as we got off the boat we booked a second boat ride for later in the day. Isabella was attentive, kind and made sure everyone was ok after each wave!
