Beware on a busy travel day

Route was good in itself, but as it was a busy travel day we ended up on a backup bus. Absolutely no legroom, broken seats, no sockets and poor ac. The return trip was quite painful while the bus crawls for over 2.5 hours in the evening rush hour. At least there was a working bathroom in the coach.

Great Day

Fantastic full day out, our guide Crystal and driver Hugho were fabulous. Very funny and knowledgeable. The tour is timed to perfection, we loved the stop for Maple Syrup and chocolate tasting. The traffic back into Toronto is horrendous but just gave us some snooze time after great day out.

Make sure you wear...

Make sure you wear waterproof shoes. Expect to get wet when on the boat! Respect the return-to-bus times the tour operators gives you. The bus is very punctual - if they say they are going to leave at a specific time, that is when they leave - not a minute later.

Operator response

Dear Jennifer, Thank you for sharing your helpful feedback and travel tips. We are glad you enjoyed your Niagara Falls boat tour experience, and you are absolutely right — guests should be prepared to get wet and waterproof shoes can make the day much more comfortable. We also appreciate you highlighting the importance of returning to the bus on time. Our Niagara Falls tour team works hard to keep the sightseeing itinerary running smoothly and punctually so every guest can enjoy each stop, including the boat cruise, Niagara Falls, and other scheduled highlights. Thank you again for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you on another Niagara Falls day tour soon. Kind regards

Very sad to have missed what might have been due to the extreme weather conditions that day.

The weather was horrendous due to a storm and consequently ruined the whole experience for us

Operator response

Dear valued guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that the stormy weather affected your Niagara Falls experience and left you disappointed. Niagara Falls tours operate rain or shine, and while the Falls can be dramatic in changing weather, we understand that severe rain, wind, or storm conditions can make the day much less enjoyable. Guest comfort and safety are always important to us, and our team does their best to continue the sightseeing tour as smoothly as possible when weather conditions are outside our control. We truly appreciate you choosing our Niagara Falls tour and are sorry the weather prevented you from enjoying the experience as expected. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on a clearer day so you can experience the beauty of Niagara Falls at its best. Kind regards

Niagara Falls and Niagara on the lake

A long day but worth every penny. The falls are amazing and the maple syrup tasting was great, a little more time is maybe needed but was still good. Niagara on the Lake very pretty but again maybe just a little more time dependant on what you want to do. We had time to walk into the town and grab a quick coffee before having to be back. If you want to spend time looking around the quaint little shops would definitely need more time.

Operator response

Dear valued guest, Thank you for sharing your thoughtful review. We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Falls, the maple syrup tasting, and the beauty of Niagara-on-the-Lake. We appreciate your feedback about wanting a little more time at the maple tasting and in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Many guests love exploring the charming shops, so we understand how extra time there could make the experience even better. Thank you again for choosing our Niagara Falls tour. We’re glad you had a memorable full-day sightseeing experience and hope to welcome you back for another Gray Line adventure in the future. Kind regards,

Niagara with the Greyline

Falls are cool, but Niagara on the lake is lovely too. If you come to Toronto it is a must, there is a theme park if you have kids.

Average experience

The activity was okay but I’d never use Viator again to book any of my excursions. Terrible customer service and not helpful at all when issues come up. Do yourself a favor and use a different service to book!

Operator response

Dear Jolene, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that the activity itself was okay, but we’re very sorry to learn that your booking and customer service experience through Viator did not meet expectations. At Gray Line, we always want guests to feel supported before, during, and after their Niagara Falls tour experience. While third-party booking platforms manage their own customer service processes, we understand how frustrating it can be when help is needed and the support is not timely or helpful. We truly appreciate your comments. For future Niagara Falls sightseeing tours, day trips, and excursions, guests are always welcome to contact us directly so our local team can assist with tour details, pickup information, and any questions before departure. Thank you again for your feedback. Kind regards,

It’s a really good day out but a very short time ( one hour) at Niagara on the Lake which is a bit of a walk from the coach park.

Comfortable ride , host was pleasant & informative.

Bring water , you can also bring a small travel bag with personal items they lock the bus up at the stops so u can just leave it without worrying. The outlet for plugging in your charger didn’t work on the bus so make sure your phone is charged , or bring a battery back up.
