Only 3 stars because of the limited time, Beat up ATV's, and we were not told this was a Beginners first time type "experience" until after we were there. That could be my fault not understanding what we bought? Guide was great. Very friendly. ALL people involved were very nice and helpful. The ATV Tour experience was not what we expected. I don't know if they offer packages for experienced riders who want to get a couple ATV's and go out and have some riding fun tearing up the desert. That's what we were looking for and have done dozens of times with and without guides. This is NOT that This is for beginners with ZERO experience. It's an hour trip from Vegas in a packed Van to get there. They pick you up at a meeting spot in Vegas. I suppose you could rive out yourself. Either way that's 2 hours of the time. He starts by explaining how everything works for people that have issues turning a key on and not understanding you have to turn the handle bars to steer it. Really! They tell you no hard throttle, no fast riding, stay in line, no fish tailing meaning drifting. No slowing down so you can speed up to catch up and play for a bit. No hard stops, no no no no Then finally the ride which was mostly about 10-15 mph for maybe 8 total miles. Some of these people were really clueless in terms of how to ride an ATV. So I get how this "tour" operates but I could walk faster. Its really just a slow train following the leader. Very little seat time!!! These ATV's had very small engines. looked only a couple 2 to 5 years old, but many were really beat up. The back brakes didn't work on mine. I made an adjustment on the rear brake linkage by hand myself when we stopped to get it working. Tires were a mess. Many had miss matched, bald, and or dry rotted tires. Ya, a few had new tires. One had a flat that I had to point out to the rider before we left. He had no clue he had a flat tire! Obviously these don't get inspected after each use. All of the controls including the clutch handle on the left side on handle bar are "off limits" Clutch, Reverse, or neutral are not operable. They use a centrifugal clutch which is disengaged at low rpm's, so they have them rigged to start up in gear. These mods were done in an attempt to save wear in certain areas of the machine from misuse by dummy's. So call, and ASK a Human what your getting. Discuss exactly what or which deal your buying before goin to any of these events. I'm sure they have stuff for skilled riders. Or if you have no skills, this is for you.
Kenny was extremely interactive, informative, he provide A+ service. He made sure we were all able to ride the ATV safely. Then gave us an experience we will never forget.
The tour guide is late, why should I wait and waste my time? overall everything is fine, but I don't like waiting, it's business. we are not friends, so I would wait
James our guide was AMAZING! Very professional, ensured safety for all drivers and took amazing photos of my friends and I! Catch this, he even pulled my helmet off without taking off my weave too! Definitely recommend for a great run on the tracks!
Very disappointing. The terrain is lame and the tour was slow. I have done the Nellis Dunes before with another tour company. The area that this group has is just rocky double track and very little sand.
Andrew was amazing! I had a great time! 10 out of 10 would recommend. Andrew was very informative, and knew a lot about the surrounding areas and Nevada in general.
Amazing experience very patient and understanding specially for people who never did it before professional, you need a lot more than
This was super fun and enjoyable!! I booked this as a surprise for my husbands birthday and we really had a great time. We will have to check out the other tours.
Our guides Robert & Blake were very attentive & upfront about safety measures. During the ATV ride Robert remained aware & alert of all riders stopping when necessary to assist. Also, very thorough as to what to do in case of an emergency/injury.
Was so good! Would do it again! Eric was really nice and helpful! I went for my friends birthday and it was so good! We also went with a good group!!
