Naoshima and Sachiko

Hi, Sachiko was a tremendous guide, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip from Osaka to Naoshima and back. Sachiko met us st our hotel, the Candeo, in Osaka. We would never have made it on our own as the was a subway, train and then two local trains before we arrived at the ferry terminal in Okayama. She was always calm and gracious and deftly ushered us through the trains, trams, museums and art sites around Naoshima. She also was very knowledgeable about the art sites and the various works of art snd the artists. Naoshima itself is stunning! The beautiful architecture of the various hotels and museums was stunning. The House project took older abandoned homes and made them into fascinating displays of art. The Seto Inland Sea is a work of art of Nature. The tranquil sea and its blue color are centered in many of the works of art around the island. We had a lovely two days with Sachiko, and this trip to Naoshima became the highlight of our trip. Lynette Berg Robe
