We went for a day trip to nakuru as a group of friends. the drive was smooth and the park felt calm. we saw rhinos from a distance and a bunch of zebras moving around the open area. flamingos on the lake were really nice to watch, the pink color looks different when you see it live. we also chose to do the boat ride at lake naivasha. that part was super relaxing… slow ride, fresh air, and hippos chilling in the water. everyone was taking small videos and pics. felt like a break from city noise. our guide explained things in a simple way and stopped whenever we wanted some extra photos. no rush, easy day, just enjoyable. if you are going with friends and want a light wildlife day trip, this one works well.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re happy to hear that your day trip to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha was such an enjoyable outing for you and your friends. It’s great that the drive was smooth and the park’s calm atmosphere allowed you to enjoy the wildlife — from rhinos and zebras in the open plains to the beautiful pink flamingos along the lake. We’re also glad you chose to add the Lake Naivasha boat ride. It truly is one of the most relaxing experiences — fresh air, gentle water, and hippos resting nearby. Perfect for capturing videos and photos, and even better for escaping the city noise. It’s wonderful to hear that your guide made the day easy and unhurried, stopping for all the photos and explaining things clearly. Thank you again for traveling with us. We’re delighted the trip offered the light, refreshing wildlife experience you were looking for, and we hope to welcome you and your friends again soon!
