Nairobi Park Wildlife Safari

I did a morning tour to Nairobi National Park and it was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had in Kenya. We were picked up right from our hotel at 5:30am, which felt early but was totally worth it. The driver and guide George was punctual, friendly, and clearly knew what he was doing, the whole thing ran smoothly from start to finish. Once inside the park, the wildlife sightings came thick and fast. We were lucky enough to spot a big male lion just chilling not too far from the road. Seeing him up close like that was unreal. We also came across three beautiful white rhinos grazing peacefully, which was a real highlight. The park was full of zebras, wildebeest, and several giraffes elegantly moving between the trees. Every turn felt like another surprise. GEORGE took us on a short guided walk down to the hippo pool. It was nice to get out of the vehicle for a bit and stretch our legs while learning more about the park. Watching the hippos in the water was surprisingly relaxing after all the excitement of the big cats and rhinos. Overall, this was a perfectly organized half-day tour. If you’re in Nairobi and want to see serious wildlife without traveling far, I highly recommend it. Early start, great sightings, knowledgeable guide, it delivered everything I hoped for and more. 5/5!

We had an absolutely fantastic visit to Nairobi National Park today with my family! The game drive was the highlight, we were lucky enough to spot two majestic male lions, a beautiful white rhino, and a whole group of giraffes grazing right near number seven. It felt so special being that close to these amazing animals in their natural habitat, just a short drive from the city. Our driver guide, George, was outstanding. He really knew exactly where to go and had a great eye for spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, we had such a memorable experience. We had the absolute best time exploring this incredible wildlife sanctuary right on the edge of the city. In just 4 hours, our fantastic guide David spotted 3 rhinos (so close!) and 2 beautiful lionesses lounging in the grass. The animals were active and we got some really great views. David was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly loves the park, he made every moment special, pointing out birds, explaining the behaviour, and keeping the whole drive fun and relaxed. Perfect for first-timers or anyone short on time in Nairobi. Highly recommend Nairobi National Park for a quick but unforgettable Kenyan safari experience. Just back to my hotel from an incredible morning safari at Nairobi National Park. I couldn't believe how close we got to the wildlife a massive rhino grazing right by the road, a pride of lions lounging under the acacia trees, and giraffes elegantly crossing the plains with the city skyline in the background. The contrast between wild Africa and modern Nairobi is something you have to see to believe. Our guide was knowledgeable and spotted animals we would have completely missed. The park feels surprisingly spacious and peaceful despite being so close to the city. We also stopped at the elephant orphanage afterwards, which was a lovely bonus. Highly recommend this as a must-do if you're in Nairobi. Perfect for wildlife lovers short on time. Will definitely return on my next visit!

We did a half-day tour at Nairobi National Park and it was a great experience. It’s crazy how you can leave the busy city traffic behind and within minutes you’re out in the open savanna with animals everywhere. The contrast with the Nairobi skyline in the background makes it feel pretty unique. Our guide was friendly and knew where to look. We managed to spot a black rhino (which I hear is not always easy), some lions resting under a tree, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and quite a few impalas and gazelles. The birds were nice too – lots of different ones flying around. The vehicle was open on the sides so we could take decent photos and feel the breeze. Everything was well organized from the pickup to when they dropped us back. For anyone in Nairobi who wants a proper taste of wildlife without traveling far, this is a solid option. We had a good time and would recommend it, especially if your schedule is tight.
