Nairobi National Park is the world’s only wildlife park located so close to a capital city, just a short drive from downtown Nairobi. This half-day guided safari is perfect for travelers with limited time who still want to see Kenya’s famous wildlife in its natural habitat. Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup and quick transfer to the park gate. Once inside, embark on a 4 hour game drive through diverse landscapes — open grass plains, acacia woodlands, and riverine forests — all with the Nairobi skyline as a dramatic backdrop. Keep your camera ready for sightings of the Big Four (lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino — elephants live outside the park) as well as giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and over 400 bird species. Your professional safari guide will help spot wildlife and share fascinating insights about the park’s ecosystem.

We had a great day, seen most animals that hoped too. Kelvin was very polite and knowledgeable, we would highly recommend and will use him again. Just be aware for the early morning pickup, it can be quite cool in the park, so be prepared.

We were taken on the ride by Kelvin from Nivlek who was very calm polite and knowledgeable. He was also very reassuring. We saw the lions hunt a zebra and that was the real highlight of the day. Amazing way to spend half day especially with my 11 Yr old who had patience for just about the time spent. Price seemed reasonable.

⭐ We were late to book, but they still made space for us — we’re so grateful they squeezed us in. Our guide was the highlight: patient, friendly, helpful, and full of knowledge about all the animals. Because of him we saw: ostrich, hippo, Nile crocodile, impala, giraffes, helmeted guinea fowl, grey heron, a dazzle of plain zebras, hartebeest antelope, secretary bird, a sleepy lion 😴, southern white rhino, warthogs, buffaloes, rock hyrax, and Ruppell’s vultures.
