The Giraffe Centre in Nairobi is a conservation and education sanctuary where you can hand-feed endangered Rothschild's giraffes from an elevated platform. Located in the Lang'ata suburb (approx. 15–20km from the city centre), it is run by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW)
The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT) is a world-renowned conservation organization in Nairobi dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rewilding of orphaned baby elephants and rhinos. Founded in 1977 by Dame Daphne Sheldrick, it is most famous for its pioneering Orphans' Project, which has successfully raised over 300 orphans.

We had a 15 hr layover on our way to CPT from JFK so we booked this hoping to see some of the sights in Nairobi. Unfortunately our flight was slightly delayed and we had some pickup and coordination issues. Nonetheless it was still a good experience once we met up with the guide and driver. We did have to pay for our admission fees still and uber back to the airport which was a little tough with international phone issues.
The tour was nearly perfect. The guide was on time , he was a very good driver that manage to drive us to see all the species of animal or almost present in the park as the same time as avoiding the crowd somehow it was great. Amazing experience really The only reason why I had to give 4 and 5 star is because they had put us with a group that had other plans, extra activities. Then then gave us the choice to either wait an extra 2 hours in the van by ourselves for the time remaining or to pay our own taxi to go back even if the drop off was included. After a small discussion they did organized our drop off as supposed
