Come experience the darker side of Salem on our night-time walking tour of Salem. We retell the most spine-chilling true crime tales of murder, mystery and macabre. Why did an insane woman in the early 1600s murder her child? Who was the famous hitman who murdered the slave trader in his sleep? Did the Boston Strangler really make a visit to Salem? These historical tales and much more will unfold on this whirlwind tour of this mysterious seaside city. This is the perfect tour for true crime fans and those who love a good scandalous story! Attention: Adult Mature content including descriptive graphic murders, sexual assault and torture. This tour is not appropriate for children under 13!! Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a paid Adult, with ticket. Younger children/chaperone will be asked to leave or transfer to a different tour (if space allows). Tours run RAIN or SHINE. We do NOT cancel for weather. No refunds in October. ***Please note, we book up to 40 people per tour.

Come experience the darker side of Salem on our guided night-time walking tour of Salem. We retell the most spine-chilling tales of murder, mystery and macabre. Why did an insane woman in the early 1600s murder her child? Who was the famous hitman who murdered the slave trader in his sleep? Did the Boston Strangler really make a visit to Salem? These tales and much more will unfold on this whirlwind one-hour tour of this mysterious seaside city. Not for the faint of heart. Suitable for adults and young adults, not recommended for younger children. Tours run rain or shine and last approximately 120 minutes.
Walk the cobblestoned streets in the heart of Salem
We bring you to the gate of the cemetery. We do not enter the cemetery. Cemetery is closed after dusk.
We tell the spine chilling story that once happened here. Outside activity.
The guide will share a few facts about the church as we pass by.
We share the haunted stories that occurred within the walls of this house. Outdoor activity only.
We pass by the Bewitched Statue for a photo opportunity.

- Wheelchairs and scooters are welcome, however, be aware that salem has brick sidewalks, uneven surfaces and narrow areas. Visitors assume all responsibility with wheelchairs and wCWt will not be held liable.

- We do not enter any buildings or cemeteries on this tour, this is an outdoor activity only.

Really enjoyed this tour because it didn't focus so heavily on the witch trials and went deeper into other darker episodes of Salem history.

We joined the Mysteries and Murders of Salem Guided Night-Time Walking Tour during our visit to Salem. The tour guide was excellent—she was friendly, knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and did a great job bringing the stories to life. That said, the content itself was a bit hit or miss for our family. Some of the stories were interesting, but others felt slow and less engaging than we expected. While we appreciated learning more about Salem's history, the tour didn't quite live up to the excitement we had anticipated. Overall, I'm glad we experienced it, but it's not something I would necessarily recommend unless you have a strong interest in Salem's historical mysteries and local lore.

Danielle was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide for our group this early July. We had participated in a different Witch City Walking Tour in October and loved that as well. Definitely wear comfortable shoes and use the bathroom before the tour begins.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on this tour! Our guide, Sam, was an incredible historian who brought the history of Salem to life with fascinating stories and actual photos of specters. The tour was so captivating that we even found ourselves researching baby names from the 1600s as soon as we got home! We were just visiting Salem briefly while staying in Boston, but this tour was definitely the highlight of our trip. It offered great value for the price, and it left us wishing we had more time to spend in the area to explore the Witch Museum and local shops. If you are visiting the region, I highly recommend this experience!

We had a great time on the Salem Mysteries and Murders nighttime tour! We came as a small friend group and this was the perfect way for us to end our evening. Samantha was our guide, and she was very knowledgeable and super fun to engage with. She answered all of our questions and let us pick her brain about Salem history. We felt she was very genuine and we could all tell she really enjoys what she does.

We enjoyed this walking tour at night. It was different than talking about the witch trials. Gave us a different tour of the city. Loved it and Samantha our tour guide. She was the best.
