Brilliant Big Dog Bollocks Day!! Stephen’s detailed knowledge was fantastic. He was so attentive, kind and generous! The best British tour guide….ever!!
Our guide was very thorough and knowledgeable. We saw some cool famous artist spots and learned some fun facts. The 3 hour tour ended up being close to 5 hours in the hot sun. No real stops for a drink or Restroom included. It was a hard day for 63 and 64 year olds.
Thank you for your feedback and for booking our London Music tour. I’m very pleased you enjoyed the famous music locations, stories and knowledge shared during the experience. I’m sorry to hear the day felt physically demanding in the unseasonably hot weather. As this is a private walking tour, the pace and overall duration can vary depending on guests’ interests, questions, photo opportunities and preferred pace, and on occasion tours may extend beyond — or finish earlier than — the advertised timing. Comfort or refreshment breaks can always be accommodated whenever requested. As this is a 3-hour tour, scheduled stops are not normally built into the itinerary, although I am always happy to adapt the experience to guests’ needs and preferences. Thank you again for your comments — they are appreciated and help us continue refining the experience for future guests.
If you are a music lover of the 60s. 70s and 80s and love hidden gems this is one you don't want to miss. Our guide Kevin was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic!
We're so glad that you enjoyed the tour with Kevin so much. Thankyou for the great review!
Kevin gave us an amazing tour of some of London's unique Music sites and Historical sites! Walked across Abbey Road just like The Beatles! Thanks Kevin! Dan & Kay
It's lovely to read your review, thanks so much for that. I'm glad that you had a good time with Kevin and that you got the obligatory photo!
I loved the history included in the tour. Kevin did a great job incorporating music history with London and world history. Kevin was personable, knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. I will come back and use Kevin again in the future for other tours!
Thanks for your lovely review. I'm really glad to hear you had such a good time with Kevin. You're always very welcome back!
We had Kevin as our guide and he was an amazing tour guide with a wealth of knowledge not only about the music history in London but general history of the area. He was fully engaged the entire time and guided us easily through this walking tour of the city.
I'm really happy to hear you had such a great time with Kevin on our Music of London tour. Thanks so much gorgeous the fab review!
Stephen was so full of interesting information and geared it to our interests in British music. Showed us great areas like Camden Market and other areas we would have missed completely without his expertise. Despite the age gap we had the same musical taste and able to share other aspects. Hope to return and explore the areas in more detail that Stephen exposed us to.
Thanks so much for your marvellous review Jane. I'm so glad that you enjoyed my tour. It was a real pleasure taking you around and I hope you get to return and explore more fully.
We had a blast with Kevin. He took us to multiple rock and roll historical spots that any other person would likely walk by without knowing the amazing history behind the spot. We also got a general tour of multiple classic London neighborhoods that included basic history of the neighborhood. Strongly recommend this tour for anyone interested in music or London pop culture history in general!
Thanks so much for your fabulous review. I'm so glad you had a nice Kevin and enjoyed our Rock and Pop tour!
Kevin was excellent and had an unbelievable knowledge base of the city and sites. Highly recommended!
Thanks so much, Kevin really enjoyed meeting you and giving the tour too. We really appreciate your kind review.
Thru the years, I have been on different tours in different cities, and a good tour guide can make all the difference. My daughter and I were so lucky to have Kevin Pearman of Ye Olde England Tours guide us on the absolute best, most memorable journey thru Camden Town, Abbey Road, the Royal Arcade, Regent Street, and Soho. HIs knowledge about the London music scene and budding careers of so many artists was extensive, only surpassed by his knowledge of the overall history of London. He was so generous with his time and in sharing his knowledge. You can tell when someone is passionate about they do and Kevin exudes a passion for all history of London -- I wholeheartedly recommend Kevin Pearman of Ye Olde England Tours to anyone visiting London and wish I had known him before we booked any other tour in London. Thank you, Kevin from two grateful Texas fans!
Thankyou so so much for your fantastic review. Kevin was thrilled to know that you enjoyed your tour with him. Kevin is great and knows all the London music scene from the 60's to the present day. I'm so glad you both had fun. Come back and we will show you the old Texas Embassy in London!
