If you love architecture and are interested in murals in Mexico City, you must join the Muralist Art Walking Tour! With Emiliano, we visited several historical "hidden gems" that contained INCREDIBLE examples of works of famous muralists! You will be astounded by what you see and learn and you won't be disappointed. Emiliano is a fantastic and knowledgeable guide!
Emiliano was so detailed and passionate. I learnt a lot in 3h
This tour exceeded my expectations in every way. Over three hours we visited three fascinating locations featuring works by Diego Rivera and two other important Mexican artists, and each stop felt thoughtfully chosen and added to the overall experience. What truly made the tour stand out was my guide, Emiliano, They were exceptionally knowledgeable without ever sounding rehearsed, and they brought the art, history, and cultural context to life in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. I learned far more than I expected and came away with a much deeper appreciation for Mexican muralism and the history of Mexico City. The pacing was excellent, the private tour was personal, and the three hours flew by. I’ve done many guided tours while traveling, and this was honestly one of the best. Highly recommended whether you’re already interested in art or just looking for a meaningful way to experience the city and learn some history.
This is a great visual and educational learning experience. Emeliiano was amazing very knowledgeable and insightful.
Emiliano is an excellent and passionate guide. With him, you will discover and better understand Mexican Muralism, an important artistic movement to emerge from Mexico. We loved the murals he showed us in the city and his interesting explanations. The tour was a wonderful experience. We also learned a lot about the history of the country.
Emiliano was knowledgeable, easy to understand, and provided the level of detail necessary to interpret the works. Good pace with opportunities to sit. Thank you!
Emiliano is a great guide. Enjoyed his perspective on these muralists. Recommend the tour. Finishing my mandatory word count…….
We loved our mural tour. Emiliano did a great job explaining the history of Mexico and its relationship to the murals in an engaging way. We stopped at spots that I would not have found by myself, and Emiliano’s commentary provided an enormous amount of context which made the tour very worthwhile in comparison to seeing the murals by myself without a guide. I highly recommend this tour, and it was a highlight of my trip!
Emiliano gives a tour of the Mexican muralists that is absolutely outstanding. I would recommend this to anyone interested in Mexican art and history. His knowledge is vast and he is a very good teacher. He also understands and can explain the complexities of Mexican politics and relationships with other nations and the church.
The guide was fantastic. Its a good tour but a bit much with walking.
