As more and more of our forests are being destroyed to make room for houses, a trip to Muir Woods is a must. The visitor will get to see some truly great specimens of nature untouched by humans
Our tour guide, Jerry, was highly experienced and very good. He knew so many facts about SF, Muir Woods and Saucelito. It really added to our experience.
Great trip. Easy booking and excellent communication prior to pick up. We had a wonderful time. Guided tour was well done!
Everything is fine, the guide speaks typical American English, fast and difficult to understand for those of us for whom English is not our native language. The place is fantastic, but it is abusive, in all of San Francisco, these mandatory 20% "tips," in this case on the total cost of the tour, something that I find to be an abuse in all services in this city, and here was no exception, since the guide does not make any extra effort other than driving and talking in a disorganized way.
Randy personalized our tour to fit the group of 4.
This is a fantastic tour to go on if you want a bit of walking through the woods. It’s just the right amount of time to wander the trail. Our driver/guide Jerry knows a lot about San Fransisco and the whole Bay Area. He’s fantastic and I highly recommend him.
Michael was an exceptional tour guide. He has vast knowledge of the history of the Bay Area, he kept the tour organized, and he made it much more enjoyable than if we'd done the same trip on our own. The van was comfortable and clean.
A super way to explore San Francisco and the surrounding area. Peter was the perfect guide- very knowledgable and considerate, starting us early to avoid the crowds really worked and we saw few extra sights along the way too. The walk through Muir Wood was peaceful and Sausalito was lovely tourist stop too with great views. Thank you Peter!
Muir Woods National Monument was a beautiful place to visit and we were allotted just the right amount of time to spend there. However the red van we were riding in was extremely uncomfortable and the sound system was very poor.
I really enjoyed this tour. The itinerary was well-organised, the transportation was comfortable, and the guide Peter provided a lot of interesting historical context. Overall, it was a fantastic, stress-free way to see the parts of San Francisco areas.
