Great class, friendly instructors. They teach you the basics of muy Thai and give you a great workout.
Fantastic experience at punch it gym. Good trainers and good intensity of training
We had a great time at Punch it Muay Thai. The class was tough but we learned a lot & the instructors were kind & supportive but also pretty badass!
I went to a Muay Thai for Beginners class and absolutely loved it. The instructors were very professional and clearly took their job seriously. We started with a proper warm-up and stretching, and we also finished the session with stretching. There were always 2–3 trainers coming around to check on us and give individual guidance. I think Muay Thai is definitely a must-do activity when you come to Thailand. Since it’s the national sport, practicing it here also allows you to experience and understand Thai culture from the inside.
Hands down loved this class. I’m 41 years old, engage in moderate exercise at home. Wanted to get out of my comfort zone. Presented to reception, removed shoes, 20 min warm up jog around the gym in a single file, followed by 5 mins skipping with a slightly weighted rope. Finished with light stretching . My beginner group broke away from the experienced and we were lead by several coaches. We learnt jab, hook, uppercut, elbow, knee and leg kicks….each move learnt first before moving on. Coaches were amazing, they interacted with the group, corrected our form and created a fun and welcoming vibe. We were challenged by the coach, he instructed us to perform a move, if we got it wrong, penalty was 10 push ups hahaha. Class was 1hr 30 mins. When class was finished we joined the experienced group, linked arms and did 30 squats together, followed by a thank you/appreciation gesture. Treat yourself to a training shirt or shorts in the shop as a souvenir. Cafe on site too. Do yourself a favour and give it a go! Be sure to get a photo at the end of class near the Punch It sign as your proof you attended 😂🫶🏼💪🏼
Right mix between hardness and fun.. my 10 year old daughter joined in and wanted to go back the next day.. A good training team and ambience
The class was so fun, definitely suitable for beginners, they were great at teaching and correcting the moves. Definitely recommend
Not gonna lie. This class is the most intense class for beginners I ever participated in. The warm-up was running for 20 minutes, then jump rope for like 5 minutes. If you can get through that, the reward is so worth it. I had an instructor (who told me to call him #4) who was excellent in explaining and teaching the basic/beginning of stances, punches, and kicks. I left feeling more empowered and knowledgeable. I know enough to practice on my own and he was all about discipline and technique. I’m here on vacation for a week (I went earlier today) and it’s a must on your to-do list if you’re on the island and have time. The class is 1 and a half hours. It was fun but intense. Make sure you bring water (I was dripping sweating) and they got you on the hand wraps. Don’t forget to check out the cafe after your workout. The menu is delicious.
Pleasant atmosphere, clean, exhausting..we only regret that we discovered it on the penultimate day of our holiday, otherwise the children would have participated every day. For the parents there is a nice coffee with delicious and healthy things
Relaxed team, relaxed atmosphere, have spent a nice morning here and exhausted us juhu
