As your journey toward the idyllic town of Vitznau commences, you’ll get to soak up the magnificent panoramic scenery offered by an assortment of captivating Swiss landscapes, including Mount Pilatus, Burgentock, the Glarus Alps, and Lucerne’s beautiful vineyards. You’ll traverse the luscious meadows that characterize the Reuss Valley before encountering the steep cliffs that peer above the Urnersee. The cruise will then arrive at the lake’s deepest point, the Gersauer Becken (‘Basin of Gersau’), before taking an exhilaratingly sharp turn through the narrow opening between the Unter Nas (‘Lower Nose’) of the Bürgenstock and the Ober Nas (‘Upper Nose’) of the Rigi. As the cruise crosses this picturesque intersection, you’ll have the opportunity to take in the dreamy landscapes presented by Vitznauer Bucht, Küssnachtersee, Luzernersee, and other stunning lake areas. My clients showed up to the meeting point and the guide was not there. They ended up doing the excursion on their own. They also changed from Mt. Rigi to Pilatus the night before but said it was the same meeting point. Very disappointing.
Absolutely appalling. The tour guide did not arrive. We found out later that they had decided to cancel the tour, provided by Tours of Switzerland. Do not use this company, they are totally unreliable. We booked another tour with Best of Switzerland Tours, they were excellent.

Guide was early at platform 7 in central train station. We were a group of 9. The weather was perfect today for both Mt Pilatus and Mt Rigi with no obstruction of views. We experienced all modes of transportation! This trip offers a sweeping views, and just enough time to take photos in places we wanted. Lincoln is a wonderful tour guide, he took photos for us. Lincoln, our guide, was very informative and meticulous in guising us thru the tour. He ponted out the beat spots to sit on the train/tram/boat and did a superb job explaining the culture of Switzerland as well.
