Motorbike Lesson in Hanoi

Ha was amazing!!! I had a really good experience learning here. The instructor was patient, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable riding for the first time. I improved a lot in just one lesson and would definitely recommend them. 10/10 experience my confidence on a bike is so much better would definitely recommend for backpackers. Thank you!!!!

Incredible experience learning to drive with this company! They teach it very well and always have a smile on your face. The instructor even gave us an awesome food recommendation after.

A really positive experience all round from contacting them to organising the classes through to finishing feeling happy and confident that I can make my way around Hanoi and its notorious traffic independently and safely. A great team and an excellent instructor in Thoa who also happens to be great company. Fully recommend.

I had such an amazing experience with Chicks n Bikes Hanoi! Before the lesson, I felt quite nervous about riding, but they made me feel safe, supported, and confident from the very beginning. The teaching was so clear and patient, and everything was explained in a way that made it feel easy and natural. By the end of the lesson, I was actually enjoying riding and felt completely comfortable on the bike. It was not only super helpful but also so much fun. I’m really grateful for this experience and would 100% recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to ride in a relaxed and supportive environment.

I’ve had two lessons so far and both with Thao. He’s kind, funny and patient. He encourages and talks me off the “ledge” when I just want to give up. Even the smallest step he counts as a win and I’m grateful. He makes sure I understand the mechanics of the bike and is empathetic to my needs and lack of experience. In (2)-2 hour lessons I’ve learned a lot (fell twice) and will continue to take lessons.

Just did a crash course for 3.5 hours with my lovely instructor Mia. She spoke great English and is incredibly patient and encouraging. I had a fall and she was very reassuring and took great care of me to make me feel comfortable. Perfect course for ladies who prefer 1 to 1 coaching at your own

Couldn’t be better. Excellent and patient instructor, great food and a surprisingly cultural tour of Hanoi as the day went on. I’ve ridden a moped once before in my life and by the end we were threading through central Hanoi and further afield feeling safe and confident. Excellent training ground to start and clear advice. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi as an experience or to find your feet on a moped (it’s less chaotic than it looks from the pavement). Thanks so much 😄😄

I had the BEST experience ever with Chicks n Bikes! From the very start, they were so welcoming, friendly, and professional — such an awesome company to deal with. My instructor, Thao, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly patient, super knowledgeable, and explained everything so clearly and thoroughly that I felt confident straight away. I couldn’t believe I was already out on the road during my first lesson, practicing turns and actually riding — such a huge confidence boost! The whole experience was fun, supportive, and empowering. I honestly cannot recommend Chicks and Bikes enough — if you’re thinking about learning to ride, this is 100% the place to do it! 🏍️✨

I had a great time brushing up on my skills. The instructor was full of energy and was very informative and took me through each step in a clear way - and now I feel a lot more confident. You start in a car park and if you feel confident enough you can progress to driving around more quiet streets in Hanoi but there is no pressure to, you can take it at your own pace.

Really great way to spend a morning! Had a fun time riding around the lake after getting an intro & practise run! Excellent for a first timer… and great way to get a flavour of the Tay Ho area!
