The location of the hotel is incomparable, overlooking the lake. The Casa Rossa where we stayed is really very nice, although the rooms are small, but the view from the balcony compensates for this disadvantage. Too bad that Varenna, from a nice and quiet fishing village, has become a tourist hotspot and has lost all its charm. Recommendation to anyone who loves tranquility to go to Varenna: definitely stormed by too many tourists.
