Beautiful cathedral, especially the outside architecture was amazing. I bought the audio guide Viator which only provided mewith outside audio. Otherwise I had to buy the inside audio through the app.privided
The walk on the rooftop and balcony was just incredible! This is rare. to see the top of the church from a bird's eye view like this. The inside of the church from below was also beautiful.I highly recommend this
This is a wonderful tour! Maria was our guide and she was extremely knowledgeable as she studied art and history. She was very easy to understand, the individual ear pieces were very helpful and we could hear her over other people talking. You truly only get 15 minutes to look an amazing piece of artwork. Lots of other tour groups but we went in as maybe only 20 or so. You do meet at the little green water fountain and yes drink the water from there it’s is some of the cleanest in the world I was told! I wore shorts by accident they still let me in as I had covered shoulders- no issues. They do have lockers to put and oversized bags or food and water in as you Cannot take them in with you. I was allowed an empty water bottle in to refill after at the green little water fountain. :-) The gift store is small but adequate. This tour was perfect at an 1.5 hrs to see a special treasure, the last supper and Santa Marie Grazie.
Must read in detail, read between the lines and print their tickets, the person I spoke to in Viator gave me the impression it was guided, we were unable to attend due my phone died and I couldn’t access my tickets. They didn’t have a list of our names so they couldn’t look me up. Horrible feeling.
Used the Viator tickets and locating the right place was incredibly challenging, ended up walking all around before heading to the right place and we were told by the museum staff all different things, to go here and there. The instructions were helpful but wished it was clear and easy to find. We tried the audio but the signal wasn’t strong enough to use the audio guide.
More expensive than if you buy it through other channels
Great experience to see the views of the Milan skylines and the unclose details of the Duomo. There are a lot of stairs to descend and to climb, if you don't take the elevator up.
We had an amazing time at the Duomo starting with mass at 11 am on a Sunday. Google Translate made it easy to follow along although it’s very similar to catholic mass in the states. We had the self-guided tour using our phone and iPods. It’s overwhelmingly beautiful and go easy to spend hours wandering the mezzanines and then climbing up to the roof top. Don’t skip this if you have a fear of heights. It’s very safe feeling and the experience of a lifetime. We spent more than 3.5 hours altogether taking photos.
Great experience that was made quick and easy with this pass. Our family would recommend this to other families.
We did not receive the tickets or complete access information 24 hrs prior. Only told to cover our shoulders not our knees. Forced to buy white capes for an additional 4 euros each. We had to contact the operator the day of for our tickets and access. No one met us to provide promised audio guides or instructions for receipt of them. Duomo itself was interesting but without audio guide lacked context.
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that your tickets, together with all access information and the audio guide instructions, were sent to both your email address and phone number within 24 hours before your visit. Regarding the dress code, our activity description clearly states that both shoulders and knees must be covered, and that short skirts and shorts are not permitted. We kindly encourage guests to read the booking information carefully before their visit.
