It was a great time traveling through the canals. Diego and the Crew kept us entertained the entire time . Highly recommended.
Fun and jolly ride in the canals. Our guide was good. We were more keen to go on a quieter trip and learn about the ancient floating islands and observe nature - but this does not seem to be on offer
Our host was Amara Des who was fantastic and engaging. Bi-lingual baddie who made sure to teach both English and Spanish speakers about the canals as well as Mexican tradition and more. A great way to spend your morning/afternoon.
Amazing experience! My boat had people from all walks of life and everyone enjoyed the tour. Would recommend for anyone
The canal is really small. You will enjoy it if you hust want a " boat party". There is not much sight seeing there. The boats are very crowded and they ram into each other often. A lot of boats come by to sell you a lot of stuff. They do feed you snacks, lots and lots of alcohol and some Mexican food. They also expect tips and " Luis is THE 😈 " you will know what I mean. He Is the life of the party. Be prepared to be " Luci...fied". Highly advice to go with friends. This is not a boat party for solo travelers or non- alcoholics. Take a lot of cash and they expect tipping. Be careful about souvenirs and there a lot of shops around and do not bargain as the price appears to be fixed. Take measures to get over hang overs. They have a remedy for that. Oh ! If you go between winter or summer break ,( USA time) take a jacket as it will be cold !
While it may be called a booze cruise, you don't need to drink to have fun. The hosts, Omar and Desi were great made sure everyone was having a good time.
Hugo was amazing! He made sure to make the entire time special! 20/10 experience. It’s such a beautiful pace. Mornings are calm as you can really take in the nature. Loved learning about Mexico culture and offerings! Can’t wait to come again and request Hugo!
Amara (Des) was a fun, enthusiastic host for our boat ride. Mario expertly directed us through the crowded canals. Our boat was full of fun people who met on the ride and became friends!
We had a wonderful time on the tour with our guide Camila! She’s the best! She was able to get my quiet group of 10 to play and party! We highly recommend a tour around the canals with her. Book the tour earlier in the day, as the canals get busy.
This was a cute drinking party boat. Very little explanation of the history of the canals and no discussion of ecology or nature. We didn’t realize this was just for tourists who want to be together drinking and laughing while floating up and then down a canal. It was fun for those who were looking for that experience. Everyone was friendly and we joined in. There was pressure to drink alcohol, for sure. It was the expectation. We don’t drink, really. We took tiny shots when everyone else did, and I hoped that when we spun the dreidel it wouldn’t land on “scorpion” which would have meant I’d have to tilt my head back and try to aim the bottle into my mouth while holding it behind and over my head… So there you go! Our experience.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We truly appreciate your feedback. We strive to offer a fun and engaging atmosphere for our guests, and we're sorry to hear that the lack of historical and ecological information did not meet your expectations. Your comments are valuable, and we will certainly take them into account as we work to improve the overall experience for everyone. We also want to ensure that all our guests feel comfortable, so we’ll look into how we can make the drinking aspect more inclusive for those who don’t wish to participate as much. We’re glad to hear you still enjoyed the fun and friendly vibe of the group! Thanks again for your insights.
