Begin your day of pilgrimage stress-free with a comfortable pick-up directly from your accommodation in Dubrovnik. Your day begins with a scenic drive through the stunning landscapes of Herzegovina, offering breathtaking views along the way. Upon arrival in Medjugorje, you'll have the opportunity to explore the sites that have drawn millions of pilgrims since the reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary began in 1981.
Scenic Drive to Bosnia & Herzegovina: Relax in a premium Mercedes vehicle as you travel through the beautiful Adriatic coastline and into the heart of Herzegovina. We utilize small groups to ensure the quickest border crossing possible.
Comfort Break: A brief stop along the way for refreshments and to stretch your legs before arriving at the sacred sites.
St. James Church & The Risen Christ: Explore the iconic St. James Church, the focal point of the parish. Visit the Risen Christ Statue, famous for the miraculous "tears" that seep from the bronze. Free Time & Holy Mass: Enjoy ample time for personal prayer, shopping for blessed religious items, or joining the Holy Mass with pilgrims from around the world. English mass can be attended Mon-Sat at 10 am, and Sun at 12 pm, noon.
Apparition Hill & Spiritual Reflection: Visit Podbrdo (Apparition Hill), the site where the Virgin Mary first appeared. Take your time to climb the symbolic path, pray at the Bronze Reliefs of the Rosary, and experience the profound silence and panoramic views of the valley.
Scenic Return Drive: Relax and reflect on your spiritual journey as we journey back toward the Croatian border. Comfort Breaks: Short stops are available as needed to ensure a pleasant and restful trip back. Return to Dubrovnik: Conclude your day with a direct drop-off at your hotel, feeling refreshed and inspired.

Pickup Locations & Times
Please note that pickup times vary by location. The tour begins at 6:30, and your pickup will occur before the start time. Be sure to monitor our messages for your exact pickup time, and contact us if you have not received it. Please note that the tour cannot wait for guests who are not on time. Due to city traffic regulations, all guests staying in the Old Town area will be picked up at Pile Gate and dropped off at Vila Dard (Pera Bakica 11)—a 10-minute walk from Pile Gate. Pick-ups for this tour are available up to Slano, as the tour travels in that direction. Look for black or white Mercedes vehicles with the orange Amico Tours logo, registration plates DU2006 - our birthday :) Remember your passport! Some countries allow travelers to use a national ID instead, so be sure to check what applies to you before the trip. All visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the traveler. You must confirm and obtain any visa requirements before crossing the border.

We went on a tour to Medjugorje and were anxious about the trip and bus/car ride etc. We couldn't believe how amazingly kind and helpful Kate in the office was ... suffice to say, we slept well the night before. We were picked up by Ante and he is hands-down the best guide and driver we have ever had in all of our traveling years. Above and beyond all of his knowledge and his charismatic personality, he was exceptionally safe on the road. Put simply, this travel company is nothing short of outstanding in every regard.

We were given the chance to explore Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the highlights was the climb to the Apparition Hill in Medjugorje. It happened on a winter season so that there only few people visiting the place during this time. I find it worthy of being able to see and feel the sanctity of the place. This is something to consider when you are looking for places of spiritual worship to uplift your Christian faith

We just want to thank you for a wonderful trip to Medjugorje today from Dubrovnik with our guide Gabriel! He was fabulous kept everything on time, so informative and interesting, the whole day was amazing. Plenty of time to climb the Apparition Hill and go to Mass in St James Church, and have a walk around. We stopped at a beautiful outdoor viewing point to have a drink on the way home and he also showed us some 500 year old trees. Nothing felt rushed we had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves and the small group of 7 made it even more personable. We were all friends by the end of the day. Thanks also to Kate in the office in Dubrovnik for giving us all the information we needed for the trip!!!

A day of travel, discovery, and wonder. Since reading the book “Visions of the Children,” I’ve had the desire to visit Medjugorje. I’d heard about all the commercialization surrounding the site, so I wasn’t surprised at what I saw. The tour was well organized. The transportation was comfortable and our guide and driver were great. The climb is going to be difficult for many. You really have to watch your step. We had time to attend mass and get a bite to eat. We had no interest in the shops. There were rest stops to and from the site where refreshments and toilets were available. All-in-all a long day but really good experience.

We were disappointed in this tour. They were 30 minutes late for picking us up. The ride from Dubrovnik to Medjorge was somewhat informative. With our late start our time up at the statue was cut short. The guide didn’t really explain much about the various parts of the pilgrimage. When we returned to Dubrovnik we were dropped off at a location that was 45 minutes from our Airbnb. Besides the amount of time allowed for re teer. Shopping , the whole day seemed rushed. I am sure there are better trips out there

Please note that pick-ups are not an exact science; we kindly ask all our guests to be understanding of + 10 min changes that can occur because of traffic conditions. Regarding the drop-off location, due to city traffic regulations in Dubrovnik, we are not able to drop off people at Pile Gate in the afternoon; this was all communicated in advance. We dropped you off 10 minutes ' walk from Pile Gate. We do our best to assist guests with directions for the remainder of their journey. We also appreciate your comments about the itinerary and guiding. The time at the Pilgrimage is for self-exploration, prayer and reflection; the guide was not supposed to accompany you at this point. This was your free time. Your observations help us to improve and ensure that future guests have a more fulfilling experience. Trip was to Medjugorje in Bosnia. Driver Nicco and tour guide Mathieu were excellent. Very informative. We had four hours to visit apparition hill to see the Blessed Mother Mary and the crosses of Jesus. This was a very holy and inspirational trip. We also saw the first mosque in Bosnia on the way back to Dubrovnik. Well worth the 5 hour round trip drive.
