After meeting you in Marrakech, we'll head southeast to the majesty of the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop to take a photo of the oldest Berber village in the Tahanout region, then visit the Berber women's cooperative. The third stage will take part in Asni to photograph it and the summit of the oukaimden before reaching Imlil. Once arrived at the village of Imlil, we will start our walk through the Berber villages and learn about their culture and the Berber way of life. We will also visit a waterfall in the middle of nowhere. The hike will be gentle and the view is breathtaking, amazing and beautiful. Lunch will be prepared by our family in a traditional house. Then we will head to the kik plateau, where we will enjoy a cup of tea while enjoying the view of this incredible desert plateau, agafay and the takarkoust dam, looking at everything at once The last activity we will do is ride a camel before taking our car to drive to Marrakech. Around 5:30 p.m.

Agafay is a reg located about thirty kilometers from the red city of Marrakech , on the first heights of the High Atlas massif in Morocco , which extends over several hundred hectares 1 , 2. It is covered with stones and rocks in a hilly environment composed of hills with white and ochre tones.

This trip was well worth it. Great views of the mountains and the waterfall was very nice. Said was a good driver and stopped often for us to take photos. Mustapha took us on a great hike and arranged a great lunch.
Excellent experience with Mustapha and Said. The entire trip was phenomenal and we felt comfortable the whole time. Definitely recommended.
Fun trip. Excellent driver and tour guides. I am glad I took the tour. Take a sweater as is chilly in the mountains.
I travelled with my wife, my 2 children and my elderly father. Moustapha contacted me the night before to confirm pick up time and location. He arrived on time and travelled in a comfortable bus and were also provided water. We made some interesting stops before we arrived in the mountain village of Imlil. My father had a sore leg and could not make the full trek, so Moustapha arranged a new meeting point for my family while he took the rest of the group to the waterfall. We were given a shorter route with an even more gentle hike to the restaurant. The restaurant had the most amazing views I have experienced, and the tagines were excellent. Moustapha and his driver were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating hosts.
An amazing day! Mustapha was a brilliant guide and companion, taking good care of us and giving lots of information about the sites we visited. We saw a weekly market, Argan oil producers and traditional Berber houses as well as the Agafay desert and the waterfalls. The climb to the falls was quite hard-going but the lunch afterwards was delicious. We finished up with a camel ride which was really good fun, wearing traditional robes and head-dress. Amazing trip from start to finish. Jamal was a brilliant host and took care of everything so we felt relaxed and could enjoy ourselves. He did everything he could to help us and more (including taking amazing photos of us). Our highlight was walking up the atlas mountains with Mohammed. Mohammed was knowledgeable about the area and taught us some great interesting facts. He made everyone feel comfortable and was the best guide we could have had. This whole experience was excellent. We couldn't believe the value we got for what we paid!!! 5* just doesn't seem enough!
The tour was well organised and a great experience! The drive was comfortable and the hosts spoke great english, namely Ayoub! The day really made this visit to morocco special and was great value for money! Highly reccomended *****
Beautiful excursion in the High Atlas with first of all a camel ride with a Berber guide who also speaks English and French and who speaks very well about his culture and his environment. Then visit a women's cooperative which manufactures Argan-based products. Then the best part was a short hike in the valley of the village of Imlil with the guide Hamid who shared with us a lot of information about Berber culture and the life of the villagers. Finally lunch in the village with a traditional Berber meal. Very nice day, I recommend.
Our family of 5 enjoyed the day a lot and we highly recommend it. Annas is an excellent guide - informative and a very nice person. We went to the Imlil valley and hiked up to a beautiful waterfall. The hike is straight up in some places and you go over somewhat rudimentary but safe foot bridges (only a couple of steps long) so bring sturdy walking shoes that might get wet. The waterfall was fantastic! Then, we hiked back a different way and climbed steps to a very cool restaurant high up in the mountains with freshly made tangible and a delicious salad. We hiked down and then they drove us to the Agafay dessert for a camel ride. We pulled over a couple of places along the way to enjoy the scenery and for photos. Annas also kindly took us through a Berber market which was interesting to see and felt very comfortable with him as our guide. We highly recommend a tour w Annas - what a terrific guide and person he is! Also the driver was excellent - we felt very safe as he carefully navigated the windy mountain roads. Truly this was amazing driving!
