Passing through the Koutoubia Gardens, you can observe the ruins of the Almoravid Palace , a true architectural masterpiece of Spanish-Moorish architecture, surrounded by a delightful green area of two hectares, planted mainly with rose bushes and surrounded by romantic borders.
It is the largest open-air restaurant in Morocco, the beating heart of the city, one of the most exciting and perhaps noisiest places in the world. The name means something like "gathering of the dead" and comes from the time when this place was still used as an execution site. It is now also called "Place of the Jugglers" The market square is transformed into a brilliant spectacle. Jugglers, snake charmers, storytellers, fortune tellers, fire-eaters, dancers, music groups with drums and lutes as well as acrobats perform their arts. Trained monkeys, camels and horses romp around the Djemaa el-Fna.

Experience Marrakech at night was an impressive experience. Once the sun sets, the city shows a whole new side with vibrant markets, illuminated palaces and a unique atmosphere. Our guide led us through narrow streets and hidden corners that unfold their charm especially in the dark. The tour was very well organized and gave us exciting insights into the cultural life of Marrakech. I recommend it to anyone who wants to see the city from a different angle.
