We had the 3 days tour to Sahara from Marrakech to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Abdel our driver was very polite, always on time and he came for the pick up to our Riad. The most important is that he was driving very safely and he was always taking care of us. The group was small with only 7 persons and this was very convenient! The food during the stops for lunch and the dinner at “Merzouga Dunes Luxury Camps” was below average. Also the tents were old and the bathroom although it was private with hot water, the whole bathroom flooded after the usage. The dinner area was nothing special and because the camp was big, the service was not good. I wouldn’t like to stay in this camp again so I do not recommend it (Bivouac). However it worth mentioning that the party for the New Year’s Eve was amazing and we had a very good time. The first night we stayed at a village at a local Riad owned by a family! Don’t expect any facilities and special treatment, but you will feel the authenticity of the morrocaine hospitality. Overall the experience was good and we enjoyed the new friends, our driver, the desert and the Ait Ben Haddou village! This place is unique!
