Marrakech to Merzouga: 4 Day Adventure with 2 Nights in Desert

Description
***Please note that in the summer months to ensure you have the most comfortable experience we spend one night in the Berber style camp, start our excursion to the nomads and surrounding area a bit later in the morning and stay the second night in a hotel at the edge of the dunes (Riad Chebbi or similar). We do this so that you have access to aircon and other hotel comforts in the heat of the summer which can sometimes be well over 40°C (100°F)*** Our goal is to make sure that every experience we provide is unique and memorable for each of our travelers. We provide thoughtful excursions that are customizable to your interests. We are from Morocco and, specifically, from the desert so we are able to provide you with meaningful information about the culture and history of the areas we travel through and visit.

Most excellent experience in the desert. My guide Mohammed was fantastic! While they are long road days to get here from Marrakesh, to experience the desert is a must do. Having added the night, turning it from A three day to a four day trip leading from Marrakesh and ending in Frz was a good decision. The second day at the desert camp included a guided tour of surrounding areas, nomad camps, ancient digs and structures, including exploring surrounding culture. Many to all the members of the team that manage this experience.
We booked the 4days package. The 3days one seems very short : you only spend a few hours in the desert. The activites during the extra-day weren’t so great. We’d like to thank the whole camp team for their assistance and their kindness, especially Mohamed ! The food and the tents are great
This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The desert is beautiful and the organisation provided us with many activities to enjoy the sublime landscape. I would recommend the 4 day tour over the 3 day tour because 1 extra day in the desert makes the stay more relaxed, leading to a better overall desert experience. We had the opportunity to do quad biking, camel riding, sandboarding which were the highlights of the tour for me. The tour guides in the desert are super welcoming and creates a vibrant atmosphere that uplifted my stay in the desert. My guide Mohammed was amazing and he shared a lot of the Moroccan culture, which was really interesting. However, we switched guides in between and the first guides were not that great and they lacked interest and spent the majority of the time on their phones. But at the actual desert, the people were very accommodating. I also believe that it may depend on the other people were are on the tour, if they are kind and bring a vibe then that would make the trip significantly better. The accommodation is alright, but for the price we paid, I'd say it was pretty good. We had a pool in the hotel and the tents were very spacious and large beds, however there was no A/C in the tent, and unfortunately my shower was broken. For the price, the trip is amazing. Lunch is not included and costs around 100-150 dirhams. The quad bikes were 60 euros and there was the ability to swim for 100 dirhams in a pool in the desert, but I didn't do that. Everything else was included! I would definitely come again, thank you an unforgettable experience! 🇲🇦🇲🇦
The experience was fantastic, especially thanks to the guides who allowed us to enjoy everything to the fullest. Their hospitality, kindness, and ability to put us in the best conditions made the trip to Morocco extraordinary. Mohamed is a wonderful person who accompanied us every step of the way, explaining and describing every activity, and introduced us to the real Morocco.
Very cool experience and absolutely recommended! The guides make a great effort to fulfill all wishes
Our day trip with Mohammad was such a wonderful experience we got to see what the Sahara was all about. He also surprised us with a relaxing afternoon in a resort. We highly recommend Mohammad and his company. An amazing experience.
I loved visiting the atlas mountains with Maria and Aziz. Loved the group, very friendly tour guide and funny :) I did the 4 day and absolutely loved the tour guide to the nómads and gnaouma music with Mohammed and Abdul and having lunch in the middle of the desert with a very filling meal. My favourite activity has to be the quad biking in the Sahara; quick tip, go on the last quad at the bike and go a bit slow while following the others as you get to go a bit faster than the lot ;) Feel very honoured, grateful and very full for this experience. Met some amazing people
Mohammed gave us a beautiful pov of the area. We got our needs met when I came to food and water. Very flexible. Would rocomwnd.
I loved my expérience in the désert sahara everything was great camel ride atv nice people in the camp
Good value for what you get! Got to see a lot the Moroccan mountains, Sahara desert, dades, gorges, small towns bordering Algeria. Hassan our main tour guide was great - knowledgeable, friendly. A bunch of other guides along the way that were also great - although I cannot remember all of there names . A few shouts to Mohamed and Ismael on the extra day tour at the Sahara camp - they showed us a nomad tribe camp where we had tea, the mining town, some very good restaurant in the middle of nowhere, and the Genoa village Pidgeons of the Stable musical group. Would recommend!
