Travelers will begin their experience with a convenient pick-up from Marrakech, before enjoying a comfortable and scenic drive of approximately 50 minutes to the breathtaking Agafay Desert. Along the way, they will leave behind the busy city atmosphere and admire the changing landscapes as the urban scenery transforms into wide-open desert views and rolling rocky hills
Upon arrival at the desert camp, guests will be warmly welcomed by our team and introduced to the program. They will then embark on a peaceful camel ride across the stunning Agafay terrain, taking in panoramic views and capturing beautiful photos, especially during sunset when the desert glows in golden light. After the camel ride, travelers will relax under a traditional Berber tent and enjoy a freshly prepared Moroccan dinner. The Agafay Desert tour was honestly a 10/10 experience, but our guide Hicham was truly a 20/10. As a solo traveller, I was a little unsure about doing an experience like this alone, but from the very beginning, he made me feel completely comfortable and included. I never felt like I was “on my own” he created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that it felt like I was exploring with someone who genuinely cared about my experience. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and taken care of. He paid attention to every little detail, listened to what we needed, and made the whole experience feel personal rather than just like another tour. What stood out the most was not only his professionalism, but his kindness, warmth, and the genuine conversations we had. A single conversation with him might honestly be one of the reasons I will come back to Morocco. He is a perfect example of the hospitality, generosity, and welcoming spirit that makes Moroccan culture so special. The desert itself was beautiful, but having such an amazing guide made the experience unforgettable. I truly hope his hard work and dedication are recognised because he deserves every bit of appreciation.

Ibrahim was a great guide for this tour ! The camel ride was excellent and very efficient in organizing people. Diner was very tasty and the shows entertaining as I have never seen this type of berber music live. Thanks to Ibrahim he was doing everything from leading to singing and even serving food. All and all excellent experience!

Mustafa and Hichem made this day just perfect. Their punctuality, professionalism, kindness and listening really marked us. Everything was organized with care, in a serene and pleasant Mood. Special mention for visiting the factory of Amlou, super interesting! The Desert Mood was magical! Between the camel ride, the beautiful scenery, the authentic decor, the delicious local cuisine served on site and the live music, everything was there to spend a time out of time. Thank you to them for their availability and kindness from start to finish. We recommend 1000%!
The tour included everything promised in the write up. However the rest of the group seemed to have had the option to add on a quad biking experience which was not an option when we booked our trip. Other offerings on Viator included quad biking and camel rides for a similar price. We only booked the camel ride as we weren’t interested in the quad biking. We had assumed that the trip we booked was the same for everyone. However we had to wait a long time while the others in the group did the quad biking in the heat of the day. The camel ride took us up to a large dam. While interesting to see we didn’t get the desert vistas that the images seemed to promise. The dinner and entertainment were great though. Our guide Amal was very pleasant and helpful and our driver was good although the van air conditioning was not working properly.
