Good experience, but extremely poor communication and unorganized

Hard to rate this one as the communication was so poor. On a positive note the dinner by the river with tagine was nice and the hike up to the waterfall was amazing especially the views. There was very poor communication throughout. Through Viator I was told 730 pick up, then at 7 AM I was told 830 pick up by 9 o’clock. There was no one to be found and I tried to contact the tour director multiple times with no answer via text or phone call I then had two men in a van with a different number that was not recognized to me asked to pick me up. it was unclear where they were taking me, and there was no communication at all who they were and they had no badges or labels on their car. We had a good driver, but he did not speak English so throughout the day I had no idea what we were doing. On the description through viator And the tour director, lack of communication, I didn’t even know we were hiking up to a waterfall, so did not have the proper shoes or clothing. The description just says it was transportation to these villages in the Ouroka valley. There is no option but to pay for the lunch that was organized by the river. Also all the stops involved high-pressure sales with argon, oil, Berber, rugs, etc. My advice is that there needs to be a much better description as to what happens during the day so that clients can prepare, with small change, appropriate clothing, etc. the tour director needs to contact the participants at least 24 hours prior not the morning of with pick up time And a description of the day. You also cannot send someone to pick up a participant with no communication with them, names badges, etc., this is very unsafe for solo travelers. I would appreciate a response on my concerns.
