Not to be brought here

To avoid total scam!!!we are Gone to 4 with our 2 young children Very, very long excursion with a lot of stops on the way like the argon oil cooperative and small itinerant markets. 2 stops by the gendarmerie that lasted 20 to 30 min each, music on the bus very loud at tel bridge that we could not talk! No bottle of water offered when it is supposed to be in the price of the excursion A round trip that lasted more than 5 hours Arrival at the kasbah, a guide speaking only English just picked you up he asks 30mad per person to just go back to the village in addition to a tip for him and takes you to the shops he doesn’t want time to go to another shop In short as we did not understand too much English we left the guide during the site visit to visit ourselves and it was much better Then we wanted to go eat in a nice little restaurant but the organizer called me to ask him to join him in the juice to go eat in other restaurants 100 meters away Arrived in this restaurant ,imposed,no price indicated ,we ask the boss because the restaurant was supposed to be free!!he tells us 130mad without drinks per person We're waiting. 2hours before being served,!!!!!because I was missing a dish for one person, in addition very dirty toilet no paper Meals finished around 4:45 p.m. On the way to the studios , arrived at the studio , we are told 8€per person and not 7€ as indicated No child or pmr price After return, an endless road, let's ask the driver to drop us off first because our hotel only serves meals until 22h, impossible, let's ask the driver to stop us on the road 10min to pick up food,ok Back to the hotel 11:30 pm in fact only the journey was understood , the description is very badly done, no water, no free restaurant and error on the price of the studio visit

Not worth the money spend at all

We joined a small group of about 10 people for the tour, but it was only a driver came with us and we had to pay an extra €3 each person for a local guide in the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. The tour felt very rushed throughout, not kids friendly. When we were in Ait Ben Haddou, we got lost just in the moment of tying up my daughter’s shoe laces, I looked up and the guide was gone, the group went down small alleyway and there were too many groups around so i had to contact the driver to figure out a way back. It’s the same rush during lunch, after the mains were served my 8 year old said she wanted to go to the toilet, which is at the bottom floor, when we returned the food were all taken away and people were rushed back to the bus, so yea, I left without even finishing half of my food :(

Really worth the long drive

Excellent day. Long drive but very scenic route. Our driver, Khalle Ali, was very safe and precautious. The studios were quite big and it was stunning to walk around the sets. Entrance fee is 8 euros per person. Shame that there was no real guided tour and it was a little chaotic inside. Once we decided to go with the flow at our own pace, we really enjoyed it and took plenty of pictures. A piece of advice: do a little research if the films, the locations and the exact place some scenes were shot and you will enjoy the experience even more! After we drove to Ait Ben Haddou. Lunch was not included but it’s very easy to find good options. We had a four-course meal that was plentiful and fresh, very tasty and reasonably prices (13 euros including drinks). After, we visited the Kaasbah which is a UNESCO world heritage site. Another stunning visit. Lots of stairs so not good for people with limited mobility. Take water, sunscreen and something to protect you from the sun. Overall, a great day, highly recommended

Operator response

Thank you so much for such a detailed and helpful review! We are delighted that you had an excellent day and found the scenic drive and the UNESCO site of Ait Ben Haddou so stunning. We will be sure to pass your compliments to Khalle Ali for his safe and professional driving. We also appreciate your great advice for future travelers regarding the film studios and the importance of sun protection—your tips on researching the movie sets beforehand will certainly help others enjoy the experience even more. We have also noted your feedback about the coordination at the studios to help us improve our future tours!

Great photo opportunities in the desert

A great day trip from Marrakech (very long day). The drive through the high Atlas Mountains was very scenic, with a stop at the top to take photos. Next came Ait Benhaddou, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco and for me the highlight of the trip. The architecture was amazing and there were photo opportunities at every turn. After a nice lunch near the kasbah it was on to the Atlas Film Studios at Ouarzazate. This was also interesting and you could let your imagination take over and see famous actors and film sequences around you. As far as I understand it, Ait Benhaddou was/is also used as a backdrop for some film shots but being a UNESCO World Heritage Site it's used more sparingly. Hiba, the guide, was very enthusiastic and cheerful, even though it was Ramadan and she could not eat or drink anything during the day.

A Complete Disaster: Zero Sites Visited, Zero Communication, A Full Day Wasted

This was without exaggeration, the worst tour experience I have ever had and I’ve visited 50 countries, so I have been on countless tours. We flew from the US, and this company completely wasted a full day of our short vacation through pure unprofessionalism, disorganization, and lack of integrity. The day started poorly just two hours into the drive when our van broke down in the middle of nowhere. We were left stranded without any communication from the organizers for 30 minutes. When they finally did reach out, we were told a replacement van would arrive in 1.5 hours. During that entire wait in the heat, we were given no snacks, no water, and no updates. I had to specifically ask for water toward the end of the wait. The driver on the ground then tracked down a shop and finally got us some water. Side note, the car breaking down was not a huge issue, as we were all still in good spirits and excited to continue on. Once we finally transferred to the second van, we lost our English-speaking driver and were left with a new driver who spoke no English. Two more hours later, we stopped at Ait Benhaddou, where we were introduced to a local guide named Mohammed. He led our group to a restaurant, which rejected us because there was no reservation. He then pointed us to a restaurant across the street and left, telling some of us to meet him outside in an hour. However, half the group didn't get the message and felt forced to eat there. We ended up stuck with an overpriced, tiny, substandard buffet. When we finally sorted out the confusion and went outside, Mohammed was gone. Ten minutes later, the driver reappeared with a different guide. It was at this point we were informed that, due to the delays, we could only visit one of the three stops originally programmed for the excursion. Chaos ensued regarding the Kasbah tour. A majority of the group (9 out of 12 people) had paid for the guided tour, yet the guide insisted only 7 had tickets. While this was being argued, the remaining 3 people (who had not paid for the guided portion) began complaining loudly and demanded to go back to Marrakech immediately. Frustrated by the situation, our second guide simply walked off without a word. This left our poor, non-English speaking driver completely alone to deal with the chaos. He told us he had been assured that someone would handle logistics upon arrival, but instead, he was left unprepared to manage the conflict. His solution? Against the will of the clear majority, he forced us all to leave immediately—literally just yards away from the entrance of the Kasbah. We couldn’t get a single glimpse after being in the car for over 7 hrs. The final tally: · Departed: 7:30 AM · Returned: 7:30 PM · Sites visited: 0 out of 3 · Guides: Lost two of them, never had an English speaker in the end, which we and other people in the group specifically needed and booked since we don’t speak Arabic or French. · Result: A full 12-hour day stuck in vans and chaos, returning having seen absolutely nothing. There were so many things that could have been done differently here—basic communication, proper reservations, managing the group dynamic instead of abandoning us, or simply honoring the tour itinerary. Instead, we experienced a complete failure from start to finish. Avoid this operator at all costs.

Operator response

We sincerely apologize for this experience. While the mechanical failure was an unpredictable challenge of the high mountains, we recognize that our communication and the subsequent logistical chain fell short of our standards. This is a first for us, and we are deeply sorry that your day in Morocco was lost. We are taking your detailed feedback seriously to ensure our backup plans and English-speaking support are more reliable.
