Good tour, loads of walking though but we was expecting that. Great tour guide. Yes they take you to places for people to sell you stuff. Same as lots of tours around the word but this is still a great tour
Disappointing, not what was advertised or expected.I f you are looking for a tour to see monuments, avoid this trip. Received an itinerary but the first 'stop' the Saadian tombs did not happen. We were given 5 minutes at the mosque, basically asked if we wanted to take photos we then took the minibus to see the Bahia Palace which was enjoyable and where we spent around an hour, one of our group asked if they could pay the entrance fee by card and the guide just said 'No" and grabbed cash from them to hand to the cashier which was extremely unnecessary, the same group (I think) had to nip to a cashpoint quickly while we were walking through the streets. From there we walked through the souks to a cosmetics and oils store that was not included in the itinerary where we spent 30 minutes, had a talk about natural remedies and were encouraged to buy goods (it was obvious that the guide was on commission) then off through the souks again. There were some beautiful looking shops but we were not able to stop until we arrived at the guide's shop of choice which was very dingy, not at all appealing where we were for at least half an hour while they tried to persuade you to part with your money. The guide did not speak while we walked through the souks, he walked in front of us and we weren't able to stop to see anything. The 'visit' to Jemaa El-Fnaa was essentially 'sometimes there is an outdoor restaurant here' in fact I had to google after the trip to see if that's where we had actually been, unfortunately it looked nothing like the photos. In short, it is not the cultural visit that we expected, the only visit worth it was the Bahia Palace and the souks were extremely interesting to visit to experience the culture, but overall it is a trip designed to get you to buy goods in their chosen stores presumably so they can get the commission
Great service Door to door hotel pick up a fantastic guide full of knowledge and very helpful. Only a small group so really enjoyable.
