Beautiful gardens that are a must-see, but do not buy your ticket on Tripadvisor, you will pay more than double the normal price.
The appointment on the ticket was at 12 PM, the one confirmed at 4 PM, I could not attend.
Avoid it; you pay three times the price and you do not get to choose the time. When you ask for a refund or a credit, they tell you it is your fault!!! Run away and book your tickets directly on the Majorelle Gardens website.
This experience never took place because the local operator contacted us shortly before the scheduled activity and informed us that the tour could not be be provided as booked. The most disappointing part was not the cancellation itself, but the refund process. We spent a long time trying to obtain a refund through both the local operator and the platform. Communication was inconsistent, different information was provided at different stages, and we repeatedly had to supply evidence and follow up ourselves. The refund was eventually processed, but only after significant effort, multiple contacts with customer support, and a great deal of uncertainty. I would strongly recommend that travelers keep all correspondence, screenshots and records of communication in case they need to prove what happened.
This booking was for an open time to the gardens which we were planning to go early in morning when they opened due to the heat. However the day before I got sent tickets saying our time slot was at 1430 in the middle of the day. I replied to the WhatsApp message saying that time didn’t work for us and there was no reply. I then sent a message to the tour operator through the Viator app and again received no reply. Do not book through Viator for this open time ticket. You will be assigned a time slot and not get to pick which defeats the point of an open timed ticket. I suggest booking through the website for the gardens direct and picking a time slot that works for you. Sunny Morocco is non responsive and worst tour operator.
Horrible experience! Avoid! Booked what was advertised as “last minute booking”, never received the tickets, the vendor didn’t pick up the phone. We were right at the garden entry and were told that they are “sold out” for the day, so tickets should not have been offered for this date. And now Viator refuses the refund.
It went badly since I was never able to go even though I had paid for a so-called entry on Sunday
Service canceled at the last moment by the provider, and no response regarding the refund. A week later, still nothing and over €100 gone. Absolutely avoid!!!
Booked this activity for 7 people for April 22. The same morning, the supplier Sunny Morocco informs us that the garden “is fully booked” and must cancel the activity with refund. We have not yet been reimbursed despite numerous reminders. It’s still CAD$515
If you book through here make sure you have WhatsApp and check it early in the morning. I never received an email and they sent a notification at 6:30am that I had entry at 8am so I completely missed my window to get there and wasn’t let in.
