We made the trip from Marrakech today. Yussef was our "guide" but he didn't tell anything except where we'll make stops. Nothing about country and people. It's too bad. First stop a sales event with "breakfast" some bread that could be dipped in oil, honey or a cream of nuts and also some tea. Small explanatory note about the processing of nuts and larger explanation about the products that should be sold. Then a photo stop. And after a short drive a hike of about 1 hour. Warning not suitable for strollers. Lunch was delicious but not very much, a small salad, tajine with chicken and vegetables and something sweet with tea. Return with a photo break with dromedaries (or camels) . After the meal Yussef wanted to make sure we gave a review, directly. I wouldn't do this tour again.
We booked the atlas mountain guide tour with Moustapha. We had a nice day with good views, food and a lot of information. Moustapha answered very kind to all of our questions about culture, home, customs... The communication went well. We recommend this trip!
The hike was fantastic, through wonderful views and beautiful waterfalls. Mustapha is an exceptional guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us his village in the mountains and took us to a riad where we had lunch with exquisite Berber cuisine. I recommend everyone to do this hike to spend half a day in a quiet place, away from the traffic of Marrakech. Full marks! I hope to be able to return sooner or later.
Mustapha the guide was amazing and very professional, we loved the trip, the food was delicious as well. Overall it was nice experience
The hike was very nice, walking through the villages with our guide Hamza was a beautiful experience. Hamza was very knowledgeable about the area and made us feel welcome. We didn’t opt for the lunch but were could sit on the restaurant’s terrace regardless, with a stunning view over the valley. Getting to and from the villages was comfortable. We shared the ride with a different group, which resulted in us taking some detours and being on road longer overall but we were invited to share in those additional experiences and had a good time. Communication with the organisers was prompt and friendly and we got dropped off almost on the dot back at our Riad. If you are looking for a nice day out in the countryside, this tour will hit the spot.
