Marrakech à Fès via le désert de Merzouga 3 jours au Maroc Sahara

The tour was overall really nice, for around 150 dollars per person it is a really good deal. I’ll give a lot of details in case it helps anyone in the future. Let’s start with the positives. Our driver was Abdul who is amazing, 5 stars for him as he is not only a good driver but attentive company. The locations that you can see are really nice and some of them are very unique too. The highlight is the camel ride which was actually not just a three minute activity like I was worried it might be but a proper ride with kind helpers. You even get mini caravans according to group size which is really great. Unlike the description says there is not only one guide you’ll have to pay for but two, (which is okay as it is not much extra cost) and despite it not being included in the price it is not very optional. The guide in Tinghir was very friendly and needed as there are multiple locations and he takes you into places around the city. He was also kind and answered additional questions. Here is why we are leaving a four star review instead of a five. This tour (alike all the others rest assured) try to take advantage of you by limiting your options and trying to make you shop at places you otherwise wouldn’t. If you can stand up to it, I highly suggest that you explore Ouarzazate on your own and ask your bus driver about where the meeting location is going to be at. It is not about being cheap about paying that 25 to the guide, but ours was really not providing much more information than the one Google search I did and if you go without the group you can enjoy things at your own pace and spend more time between the buildings than in the shop he herds you in :)) they will tell you to buy a scarf ( which you can fully buy later for cheaper ofc) This is the only stop where you can get out of going to the ‘obligatory’ restaurant for lunch which is at every spot poor quality and European price (120-130). Rather ridiculous. There are many food options nearby get out and eat somewhere else. At the last day we just skipped lunch and had a big (and cheap) dinner at Fes instead. Overall great and very value-worth experience just make sure you have an eye for these tourist traps.

Hello. I contact you regarding my reservation (reservation number:  VIATOR 1382352947). I booked a 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fes for €240. However, the travel currently provided does not correspond at all to the benefit purchased: The program of the first day was not respected. The tour seems to be a standard 3 day round trip Marrakech–desert–Marrakech tour, usually offered around €100, and not a Marrakech–Fez tour as booked. I am currently the only participant to go to Fez, which shows that the organization does not correspond to the initial booking. This is clearly a non-compliant service and a downgrading of the service. I ask you: intervene immediately with the provider, and not to validate the final payment until the situation is resolved. Red City Tours = total incompetence, amateurism, lies, zero reliability and scams. To disgust! Frankly, we’ve never seen such an unprofessional agency. It’s simple: EVERYTHING is catastrophic. Delays, humiliations, non-existent organization, zero communication... It seems like a joke, except that it is paid at a high price. This agency is a disaster from beginning to end. They sell us dreams, but once we get there, it’s just an accumulation of tricks. This agency does not respect anything: not the schedule, not the program, not the customers. It’s all g**** bullshit from start to finish. You pay for a shabby service they are not even capable of performing. We thought we would book with them to have peace of mind, be taken care of and just enjoy... As a result, we had one of the worst experiences possible. Nothing is clear, nothing is organized: it is up to customers to search for information, ask a thousand questions, guess what to do. An agency that forces travelers to do all the work for them is already a huge red flag. - Itinerary not respected: stages were skipped voluntarily by flemme and lack of organization. No first aid in the desert following a serious fall. Nothing. Not a kit, not a kit, not a trained person. If someone gets hurt, you can handle it. Unacceptable for activity in isolated areas. No explanation of the security rules of course (premises busy scrolling on their phone and smoking). Extras are a total joke. You're charged extra for sandboarding... only to find out that everyone has free access to it. Outright theft, just to get you more money. When we ask for the refund: go get ****! -The driver tries to charge an extra already paid. We show the evidence, he keeps insisting. A thinly disguised scam attempt. Pure bad faith. When we show him the evidence, he pretends not to understand. Ridiculous. – The message staff is absolutely useless. They respond when it suits them, never professionally, never with useful information or solutions. It is clear that they do not care about customers. -Sale of bullshit from morning to night. On the spot, it’s non-stop: we try to sell you anything, all the time. It is exhausting and frankly disrespectful. Too much pressure. The guides? A horror. Not interested, not prepared, not kind (except to get tips of course). We are mixed with all languages, so if your language is in the minority, you will not have any info by fenantaises of the staff (even if the language is selected when booking). We'll have learned more from our phone. We are kept waiting like idiots. - no service regarding complaints and reimbursement, they simply stop answering you and block you. That is professionalism! Honestly, run. Keep your money, time and patience for a serious agency. Red City Tours is just the best way to ruin several days of travel in Morocco. A SHAME. Dishonest, dangerous agency, disorganized by its total lack of preparation. If you want to ruin your stay, lose your money, get angry and be left alone without information, then go for it!

The experience in the Sahara was beautiful! I did not like it instead during the Travel we were taken only to tourist restaurants where you ate badly and paid little. If you wanted to eat somewhere else they looked at you badly. Abdul practically forced me to put a positive review on him, he insisted on writing it himself from my phone and this really bothered me! Actually Abdul was on another bus and I had to deal with it a bit more only in the Return journey

Very nice interesting and varied tour, in a short time we saw from history to popular culture. Thanks to the guides we stayed in great local restaurants without any consequences. Beautiful and recommended desert tour (with sunset walk with camels and a choice of quad bike excursion at dawn). The super equipped camp organized clean and with useful services for a better stay than any other hotel we stayed in morocco.Thank you so much to Khalid for his kindness, sympathy and availability

Jalal was a great driver always courteous and kind, available for explanations and along the way allowed us to make several stops in beautiful landscapes in addition to the scheduled stops making available to continuously take pictures

Chafurdar is an exemplary guide, he was very friendly and welcoming during our visit. He took us to see his family's house and helped us with everything.

A wonderful journey to discover the beautiful south of Morocco we left from Marrakeche passing through Whatsap where we visited the splendid Cado then we visited the tube va goals before heading towards the Marzoga dunes then the group I was traveling with was fantastic they were an hour I was honored to meet wonderful Moroccan guys the driver is very good everything was perfect beautiful an experience to have thank you
