I will be pointing you the mosque from the square , and give its history.afterward, you are free to visite the surrounding of the mosque when you are free. As you are not allowed to enter to mosques.
We will talk and discuss the history of Marrakech main square.
We are going to stop in the jewish Quarter , and thats to give you the history of the jews in Morocco. Also the jewish Quarter goes back to 16th century.
a place from the early history 19 century. was occupied by the visir of the king Bahmad , and the frensh people during the colonisation 1912-1956.
Souks means the markets , in this tour we will discover different sections of the market each one with its speciality( Leather section , wood section , Dyer sections, rug cooperatives)
We will be crossing the blacksmith section where the blacksmiths make different artisan lamps , decorations , doors , window . And also its a chance for you see how our own artisan work .
We will be crossing the leather section where the artisan makes leather goods sandals , jackets , poofs , belts and bags .

We were lucky enough to have a 'personal' tour with Abdel which he tailored to our wishes. He's very knowledgeable, personable and pleasant and took the time to explain everything to us during the tour as well as answering any questions we may have had. Don't hesitate to book with him - a great way to start your holiday in Marrakech!
Abdel was excellent. He showed us around the markets and explained to us the history of the old Mosque Madrasa Ben Youssef. We then visited the secret garden as well and it was a great place to end the tour. Hope to meet Abdel again whenever I come back to Marrakech, he was not only a great tour guide, but very friendly and warm.
This was a top notch walking tour of the Souks in Marrakech, about 3 1/2 hours duration with a slow pace and plenty of explanation of the Souks as well as Islamic history and culture. Very informative and our guide Saleem was the best. Learned a lot of history as well as current Moroccan culture. I would recommend 110%.
Loved it - a very good way to get to know the souks and surrounds of Marrakesh, our guide was friendly and happy to chat about history or what it is like to live in Marrakesh

Abdul was lovely and friendly, he asked what we wanted from the tour and we told him. He did exactly that, it was a fab walking tour. There was 9 of us (all girls) but he knew exactly what we wanted, even before we fully told him. I would highly recommend him, he is extremely knowledgeable and fun with it.
My sister and I had a wonderful, informative and lovely trip today with Youssef. He is very knowledgeable, patient and very catering to all needs. Abdel was fantastic from start to finish. We got very lucky and we were the only people on the tour so essentially had a private guide. He tailored the trip to our wants and we were able to visit the Ben Youssef school and Secret Gardens as well as taking a detailed look around the souks. We particularly enjoyed the blacksmith portion. It made a HUGE difference walking with Abdel as we were not approached or harassed by any merchants during that time. Abdel left us with an amazing restaurant recommendation for Tiznit and specifically for a dish known as Tangia. Well we tried the restaurant that evening and were thoroughly impressed. Abdel is very approachable and knowledgeable and we are so pleased we got to spend a few hours in his company.
