Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by this tour. Due to the many positive reviews, we had high expectations, which unfortunately were not met. Particularly disappointing was our guide Youssef. Throughout the entire tour, he was mostly preoccupied with his phone and provided hardly any information about the surroundings or the places visited. Moreover, there was a constant feeling that he wanted to finish the tour as quickly as possible. Although we saw many sights, we could hardly enjoy them due to the tight schedule. Everything felt very rushed, and there was hardly any time to explore the places at a leisurely pace. For those who want to pay as little as possible and have no high expectations, this tour may be sufficient. However, we personally would not recommend it further.
A very beautiful day in the company of Youssef. A magnificent discovery of mountainous landscapes and waterfalls. Almost a private visit; there were only 7 of us. I highly recommend it.
The tour was very organized. The tour guide (I'm ashamed, but I can't remember his name) was very careful and attentive. There was an elderly lady who couldn't keep up with the rest of the group, and he patiently waited for her and helped her through the slippery parts of the hike. Lunch was served at his house, and everyone was very welcoming and considerate. I would totally recommend this tour.
We did this walk as a group of 10 people, ranging from 10 - 70 years old. Our guide Youssef was very informative and told us proudly about the Berber way of life. The walk to the waterfall was beautiful if a little challenging but the home made tagine at the end of was worth it! We capped the day off with a camel ride which was brilliant. Would highly recommend this experience.
Authentic! Want to get an unfiltered hands on feel of this area of country? This is the tour. Ride through valley up through mountain passes and walk through villages dating back centuries. Abdul shares with you his homeland and what it is to grow up in remote area outside Marrakech. How indescribable it is to be hosted at his family home and enjoy authentic local cuisine cooked by his mom overlooking breathtaking valley of Apple and Cheery Trees settled at base of snow capped mountains. Being accepted so comfortably as another member of family may be highlight of day. Visiting local shops, riding over roads exposing the raw beauty of this area of Morocco creates memories for a lifetime. Cap it off with camel ride and you will cement this as best moment of your trip. Safe, comfortable, interactive.
We are a family of 11, ranging in age from 10 - 70yrs old. This was the best day out during our holiday in Marrakech. The coach was a/c, comfy, safe. The tour guide, Yusuf, was calm, interesting, friendly and unflappable. A couple of suggestions: There are some interesting stops along the way to the mountains where u can buy curio, arrange oil, cold sodas. BUT we weren't advised to bring cash, so we were limited with what we could buy. At the base of the waterfall, a man sells freshly squeezed OJ, made from oranges grown nearby and chilled in the waterfall. It is possibly the best OJ in the world, so save some cash for that! The hike was manageable by most of the group, but was challenging for some. The tour guide stopped regularly for rest breaks but you'll definitely want to remember your suitable shoes and any asthma medication etc. The view once you reach the village makes it 100% worth it. The food provided is plentiful and delicious and comes with cold bottled water. I would very much recommend this as an amazing day out for families and people who want to learn about and experience the life of the Berber people who are incredibly warm and welcoming.
Youssef was amazing, very friendly and helpfull, catering to all our needs. A trully nice person.
Great value for money. Lots of a varied activities. Small groups size. Youssef was a very nice guide, and was happy to answer questions and took good photos which is a bonus!
We were picked up on time. There were plenty of seats in the van and it was comfortable. The tour guide, Youssef’s English was pretty good and he explained each site before reaching there. The van stopped at select places for pictures and Youssef volunteered to take our pictures and videos. I would recommend this trip. The driver made us feel safe during the trip.
This was a superb day out. Youssef, our guide, was a true local who shared his culture with us. The scenery, the explanations, the lunch, the camel ride and the attention to our needs were all impressive and appreciated.
